    I have been out of town and just saw this now. I am not satisfied with their response. They refused to help me reschedule my trip and did not offer to move my campsite, etc. I would like a full refund. I did my best to work out a compromise with them and they were intentionally difficult and all to happy to keep my money during a natural disaster. Their insurance should have covered any losses they suffered during a natural disaster and they should not be unfairly keeping customers hard earned money.  tand the words he was saying.
    I would like a full refund at this point as the campground was unable to provide us with a safe place to camp and refused to reschedule the camping dates. The amount I paid in advance was $183.00.

    Above is a link to the policies on our site, unfortunately, camping is an outdoor experience and we do not allow cancellation due to rain. Our campground is located on 100 acres, there are some sites on the river but we do have other sites which are not on the river and are not at at risk of flooding. This year has been very harsh with rain but the staff at the campground has been very proactive regarding relocating site so that guests are safe and not at risk of flooding.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: they have offered no resolution to my complaint and have not returned my money. They have until the 15th of this month to refund my money in full or I will be taking further action.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because:

    Instead of getting an alert that one night on Saturday wasn't available - we were kicked to Sunday, without our knowledge and the payment went through for one night on a SUNDAY. We did not want Sunday, and never selected Sunday. 

    Had the computer system said 'Saturday not available' OR '2-night minimum for Saturday' as we were booking, we would never have given our credit card information.

    Since we caught [their] system's error immediately and tried to rectify the situation, we'd like to be reimbursed our $99.34. It is unfair and poor business to have dates changed without blatantly informing people and then continue to charge them when they cannot be available, especially when this all occurred in under 10 minutes.

    The above information was provided on August 4th to the Crawford Notch Campground. They replied via email on Monday August 8th, writing: Hello ********, I am sorry you have had this issue in making reservations with us. Unfortunately we do have a 2 night minimum on Saturday nights. Please let me know what is the best time and number to call you to further discuss this issue. Thanks Crawford Notch Campground.

    We had a short email exchange where in they were to call on Wednesday and never did. I emailed again asking to be contacted and have not yet heard anything back.

    We feel robbed and want our money returned.

    The guest made a reservation online through the website. They claim to have made a reservation for 1 night on Saturday night, however we have a 2 night minimum on all Saturday nights. If the guest had tried to make a reservation for one night on Saturday they would not be able to (please see attachment). The guest could not have made a reservation for one night on Saturday night.

    Thank you for your response. The website does not and cannot change the dates you selected. As the previous attachment showed it will just inform you that there is a 2 night minimum. Also when you select a site type the site confirms the dates every step of the way (attached images confirm). Booking an incorrect dates is not possible. I am sorry you have had this trouble but we can offer to move your date to a future date when you would like to come stay at the campground within this season.
