Currently in litigation as this company was hired to move my home in August 2022, paid (in full) in September 2022 ($4,800.00). Scheduled move for November 7, 2022 & they didn't attempt to even move it until November 28, 2022. I was told the frame bent and **** immediately demanded a waiver of ALL responsibility (IF THE FRAME BREAKS IN TWO OR THE ***** FALLS OFF - SERIOUSLY!!) . **** demanded it be signed via email in order to CONTINUE TO MOVE forward with the delivery -(even threatening additional hourly fees when the oral contract was a flat fee!) or he would just dump it on the side of the road where he stopped. What is a customer to do?? Once the form was agreed to under duress, it was THEN just towed to his daddies property (6 miles down the road) where he refused me access to my own home! Complete poor or non-existent communication and appearance of complete lack of professional and honest behaviors with regard to a home move. Company responded dishonestly in written correspondence to the complaint filed with the ************************. Company completely refused to acknowledge me and my two elderly dogs IMMEDIATE homelessness for over two years and then asked his insurance company to intervene so I had to start all over again. The company still has my home (2025) and have refused access to it with the threat of tresspassing unless storage fees (that were never agreed to because the home should have been delivered) are paid. How is it to be moved without being repaired? How to manage repairs without access to the property AND I was 3 hours away where the home was supposed to arrive!. No one expects this type of behavior or for a company to behave in this manner, but it did and his daddy participated in this horrible situation. My two dogs have since died and I owed them their golden years in our home being retired, not the life they had these past few years. I read the other customer complaint listed and can understand their frustration.
