On February 26, 2024 I called *************** for roadside assistance. Precision Towing and Recovery was dispatched for a jump start. The tow truck driver attempted to get the car started and it eventually started. The driver started to leave and the car stalled again and I got out and tried to stop him. I was blowing the horn and he kept going so I hurried up and called the office and the receptionist was extreemly rude and said I had to call my insurance back and it would be charged another roadside assistance charge. I told her the car stalled as the driver was driving away, and that the roadside assistance was not completed. I feel the service was not fully completed and I do not think this company has completed the contract, and they should not be paid for this service. The poor customer service is unacceptable on any level, and this individual should learn how to properly speak to people so they don't get so upset and have to yell at them...

I had initiated a complaint due to the concerns noted.  However, I am not requesting a refund, and would not utilize this business in the future, due to my concerns.  They are a towing and recovery business and most likely have to deal with upset people on a daily basis.  They should not treat people that require contracted services from our insurance company with disregard and disrespect when calling their office.

The customer called the office demanding that our driver come back and perform the service again.  I spoke to the driver he said the car was running for a min of 10 min with no issues.  He left the scene. At that point the customer called the office demanding that our driver come back and do the f***king job.  I explained the process of the fact that the customer had gone thru his roadside assistance and they would need to be the ones he contacted in order for us to come out again.  He became belligerent and said a long list of horrible things.  The customers service was performed.  If he wanted us to come back out he simply needed to call his insurance back again..  He did not want to pay us for us to come out without the insurance involve.

We did not take money from this customer.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

The response from the owners wife is not acceptable because she is lying about the facts.  The tow company was called to do a roadside assistance.  The receptionist/wife of the driver said they were very busy and may be able to swing by on the way to another job.  I was trying to get the car started with another person when this company arrived.  The tow driver got the car started and rushed to his vehicle.  Before he even got into his vehicle, the car stalled, about 15 seconds.  He hurried up and took off and I called the office.  By the time they answered, the driver was only about 2 hundred feet down the road.   The wife of the driver was very rude after I told her that the car started and stalled again and the driver just took off.  Most likely because he was already on his way to another job.  I appreciated that he squeezed me in on his way to another job, but he was in such a rush, he did not wait even a minute to make sure the care actually stayed started, and the receptionist/wife was so rude and nasty, telling me that I had to call GEICO for another service call, and the driver had to go to another call.  I was polite to her and explained that he was only down the road and did not wait a minute to complete the service.

My insurance covered the cost, so I don't want anything from this company.  However, they did not do a proper service call, and if the wife/receptionist wasn't being so rude, as if she were speaking to someone at a bar, I would not even contacted your agency.  I do believe they cheated GEICO though, and they could use some proper employee supervision and training.

This company does a lot of towing for landlords, and they are not very well liked, but I have never had any issues with this company before and GEICO contracts with them.  I very well may need them in the future, but because of the receptionist/wife, I would always ask for another tow company to be sent, and I feel terrible for the driver for having to deal with an employee such as her, and lying about the circumstances.

Even though this incident happened, and the response is unacceptable, I would still wish this business well in the future and God Bless them.

      Sincerely,

      *********************
