    In January 2024, I hired this Meineke location to install an OEM COMPLIANT, ALL STAINLESS-STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM, INCLUDING THE 3 CATALITIC CONVERTERS, I alerted the shop manager that this was a California Car and it required C.A.R.B. rated ****. When I took delivery of the car, the Check Engine light had not been reset and the **** were not C.A.R.B. complaint. The all stainless steel system had mild steel hangers and brackets, and was not bolted to the chassis, all the welding had been done with mild steel wire (vs. Stainless-Steel wire). The exhaust connector pipes to the (new) mufflers were a corrugated bend (effectively reducing the ** by 50 70%; causing restricted flow of exhaust gases). The **** were 50 State EPA, which are NOT compatible with California Emissions. After changing the O2 sensors (which I had to source) the Check Engine light finally cleared and ******* applied a NH State Inspection Sticker (******* did not test the **** just applied a sticker). On August 9, 2024, the **** failed (at highway speeds) and the vehicle was towed to my mechanic who diagnosed a clogged exhaust (failed **** and said the **** are wrong for the car). The car was then transported to Meineke for Warranty Repair. I took delivery on Monday, August 19, 2024. The exhaust has now been spay pained with Aluminized paint (not appropriate for Stainless Steel). On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the **** have failed again. The New (warranty replacement) **** have failed within 2 days! The shop manager has proven to be argumentative, condescending and refuses to perform the work which I ordered and paid $5,576.44 for. He insists the 50 state EPA is correct for my vehicle that came from the factory with California CARB rated exhaust.
