So this entire ordeal was done over the phone. I spoke to Gary, who turns out to be the owner who told me I could drop my car off. They would squeeze it in when they could my complaint was a squealing clutch. I asked if wall in the shop, considering I was having a state inspection due at the end of the month if they could just take it if there was anything besides the front tires that needed a dressing before I brought it in for inspection. I never ever authorize an inspection. In fact, I was told $85 for the diagnosis the mechanic was vindictive. I spoke to him on the phone originally he told me to start looking for a new vehicle as he would have to drop the transmission and I was looking at $1600 just to diagnose it further. When I followed up the following Monday after leaving a message after hours the previous Friday stating I might have a buyer for the vehicle but if the buyer did not go through then I may do the work with them. I spoke to him the following Monday he said it was $125. I question that amount I told him I was going to pick up my car. I showed up a couple hours later to find an inspection slip on my seat unsigned I brought it inside and I asked what the inspection report was about. He told me it failed for inspection. He ran it through the state inspection computer. He then grab the inspection report signed it and told me it would now be $175. I was obviously needing to remove myself in my vehicle from the property. I handed them my debit card, I was very upset that this shop would do what they did. They should’ve never done an inspection as I had plenty of time in the month to repair anything that needed to be repaired at any other shop I chose or even things that I could’ve done myself now I’m forced to , be without a vehicle not be able to get to work and put food on my table as it requires me to bring the vehicle back to them for the repairs or have the repairs done in which they claim need to be done if you look at the inspection report, you’ll see a lot of it is bogus  and illegitimate non-SAFTEY related items I’m looking for a refund for the additional $95 I was charged for unauthorized work this auto repair shop apparently has a history of doing this to people if you just look at their Google reviews. All I want is my money refunded and the inspection to be unwound because it’s Bogus and it was on authorized.  Gary and Jason you need to do the right thing. I didn’t deserve that kind of treatment. I didn’t deserve to be missed quoted overcharged and have unauthorized work performed on my vehicle just because you wanted to get back at me for making a personal financial decision to sell the vehicle, I would’ve brought the vehicle back to you and had you do the work, however, that will not be possible.
