We're selling our home and dealing with a potential buyer's realtor ERICA B**** was a nightmare. I would not use her as my realtor, nor would I recommend her. While the potential buyer had their home inspection done it was found that we had mold in our attic, which we did not know about, if we did it would have been taken care of. (We walked away from a house that we liked because of a mold issue). In the contract the buyers signed they put up to $10,000 in repairs they would take care of. Erica accused us and our realtor of lying and not disclosing the mold issue because her clients wanted us to pay for the remediation. Why would we lie about mold when we knew it would show up on a home inspection? Her argument is that because this house had mold PRIOR to us buying it and it was remediated that it had a mold issue, and we should have disclosed this information. We did not because as far as we knew there was no mold issue because it had been resolved prior to us buying the house. They did not ask for anything else on the home inspection report to be fixed. So, in my opinion this was under the 10K they said they would fix per the contract. They had a mold remediation company come look and came back with a crazy quote. I'm getting second & third quotes and so far, what the remediation companies have told us about the issues, it will be resolved. The company they used (****) what they quoted would not have resolved the issue. I was here when they came out and all the person did is go up a ladder and stick her head in the access for about 1 minute, look around with a flashlight and that was her inspection. My inspector when up into the attic space for 20-30 minutes went from one end to the other, took lots of pictures and told me the issues and how to fix the problem. I will definitely use the people we chose, not their company, which by the way is the same company that remediated this house over 10 years ago. If I could give less than a 1 star rating I would.
