******* ****** my 90 year old mother has been requesting her refund of $50,000 for greater than a month for a deposit she placed with Taylor Community, a CCRC with offices in Laconia and Wolfboro, NH. The $50,000 was paid as part of an expedited fee as well as a deposit, to be placed on a waiting list for an "Independent Living" apartment (not "Assisted Living"). During ********* time perusing CCRCs, including Taylor Community, ******* made it very clear leading up to signing and making a deposit, to all involved, that her only interest for signing with a CCRC is for Independent Living only. ********* move-in date for an Independent Living apartment was assigned by Taylor Community for Sept 25, 2023. Leading up to ******* submitting her paint color for re-finishing her independent apartment, Taylor Community abruptly changed and breached her agreement. Taylor coerced that her only choice for Taylor Community was "Assisted Living" . The abrupt change, bait and switch, breached ********* agreement.

******* ****** is requesting your help to please stop this deception, intimidation, and financial exploitation of improperly withholding her resources. A very simple return of her money is all that she is requesting. There is no "interpretation" of the given situation - these are the facts. With the bait and switch (from an unethically obtained and interpreted medical record), Taylor has breached the agreement, especially since ******* was not under any medical care at Taylor, as she was not yet residing there. ******* clearly did not receive any benefits or services from Taylor Community for her $50,000 deposit and waiting list status for Independent Living fee. Under the consumer protection and elderly abuse protection, Taylor Community should not be entitled to or financially benefit from ********* $50,000 - its is hers.
