I was intentionally served cold pizza with fresh pizza sitting right next to it in the warmer. I was told there was no difference and to take what I was given. In order to not cause a scene I reluctantly took what I was given and then charged full price while I was treated rudely and given dirty looks for requesting the fresh food over what was clearly old stale food. It was as if it were a bait and switch. So anyway I subsequently left a one sentence negative review on the stores Google review page that read "The pizza slice selection police"Upon with one star returning about a 3 weeks later I was denied service and told I wasn't welcome back on the property and that my money was no good there for SOLELY leaving negative feedback about my experience on "social media". Also subsequently the store issued a psa on its own social media (Facebook) warning they should anyone provide honest feedback about their establishment that they would be banned.

To Whom it may concern, February 20, 2023

I have been a reputable business owner in the Groveton/Berlin/Gorham communities for over 40 years and have had a life time of relationships and interactions with many customers and the public my entire life.  In my experience I have learned not to let the publics actions or opinions put on social media change the respectful way we do business in NH.  We are a long-time family business in NH and a huge asset to our small community and surrounding. I along with my husband Brian and son Zack have been owners in the State of NH for approximately 10 years together. We take pride in customer service and struggle every day to make our customers happy & the public THAT STRUGGLE IS REAL!

**** was not 100% satisfied with the service that day. **** was not intentionally served cold pizza. **** may not be aware of our business practices; We follow a practice of first in first out! The other pizza was not ready to serve but **** didn’t give Zack the opportunity to explain that to him.  I was in the store the day **** thought he could walk in and demand a specific piece of pizza. Zack tried to explain to  **** that there was no difference they were all taken out of the oven at the same time.  **** didn’t care to hear or listen to Zack’s explanation. He proceeded to pay the Sales Associate and then went the door. Zack was polite as usual, and **** just walked away. If ****, didn’t want it no one was forcing him to take it. The public does have that chose I believe he could have just left it!

We have learned from experience that when the public enters our establishment and other establishments. If they don’t get what they want, then they feel a need to BLAST them on social media. Unfortunately, **** had such a bad experience because he did not get what he wanted. So therefore, why he choice to come back to our store 3 weeks later is beyond us. Especially after bashing us on Google as the “The Pizza Slice Selection Police”. As for not being able to enter our establishment we choose not to deal with **** today or anytime in the future. He is not permitted on the premises. We do not invite people in to or on the premises that may provoke our loyal customers to take matters into their own hands, on our behalf. If need be, I can have a police officer serve **** with a do not trespass order.

We currently have 6 employees on staff, 1-Kitchen worker plus Zack-Store Manager and 5 Sales Associates for the store. Since covid we have not been able to get people to work and have been struggling more and more with the public demand.  Batch’s Kwik Stop is a small family business and has a deli, convenience store and Valero gas station. We do go through yearly inspections for the NHDHHS and NHDES and even Valero’s Commitment to Customer Service. We currently service 500 plus people per DAY!  WE HAVE MANY LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

    Customer Answer

I mean I think you can kind of see that the business owner is proven my original point I had a bad experience in their store I left a bad review on social media and now I'm being trespassed from the store that's not in any way acceptable. I I was not treated in a proper manner of the day I was served cold pizza I was not treated politely and I was not given an explanation, and had I left the pizza this situation would be much worse than it already is. I'm not the first person to complain about the way these people treat their customers and their store, they just can't seem to grasp how to treat customers properly. I write many reviews online and most of them are very positive that I can prove that as well. I don't really intend to return to the store anyway as far as returning 2 weeks later it's kind of one of those things where it's the only stop in town and they know that which is WHY they treat their customers the way they do. I am literally being threatened with a no trespass order for writing a bad review and submitting a BBB complaint, that in itself is beyond asinine. I don't really know what could possibly be a solution but I want it known to other people through the BBB and any other outlet social media or word of mouth the way this establishment treats their customers. I don't know what my options are as far as the solution but I just want this kind of on record so that it's known so that when it happens in the future because it will that you can see that a pattern has been established. Thank you for your time effort regarding the matter.
