    We bought some food at Jakes in **********. When we got home my wife went to eat her chicken and ripped it open and noticed it was raw. Took it back to the store and aske for food to be credited. Manager said he could make new chicken and I said no I wanted my money back. *** said for only chicken. I explained he could have made my wife sick. I could call the health ***** or I could post it all over social media or show people outside. He said he didn't care. I went home and called the store and talked to *****, e listened but then kept inturupting me while explaining what happend and I got no where with him. I said something about the health department and he said that they had a good relationship with the health ***** I tried to keep talking he kept inturupting and then hung up on me. All I was looking for was money back for the food and an apology . But what I got was and attitued and the imprestion that they didn't care that they sold raw chick and that it could have made someone sick.

    Unfortunately our deli staff made a mistake and severed under cooked chicken.  This is clearly a serious situation and something we appreciate being brought to our attention.  I interviewed the store manage and assistant manager about what happened when ***************** brought the issue to them and they both reported they tried to resolve the issue but ***************** was not satisfied with their offer to refund the cost of the chicken or replace the chicken, but ***************** was not satisfied. They said he wanted a credit for everything he purchased, not just the chicken.

    I spoke with ***************** on the phone shortly after when he called the office.  I listened to his concerns for numerous minutes, I apologized for our mistake and audibly agreed with him as he made many of his points.  After awhile he started repeating himself and I tried to communicate back to him, he wouldnt let me speak. He told me to let him keep talking.  I said ok please continue, and he again told me to stop talking while he was talking.  At that point I tried asking him a few questions in hopes to resolve the issue.  One question I asked was his name, but he didnt give it to me.  At that time I ended the call because I didnt see how I was was going to resolve the situation if I wasnt able to speak.

    Im disappointed with myself for not being able to resolve he issue quickly, but it seemed to me ***************** was. Asking it very difficult for us to handle.  

    I look forward or having an opportunity to make this right with *****************.
