    Last June, we went to Shady Hill and purchased approx. $1,600 in plants. We paid extra to have a Shady Hill worker help us pick the right plants for our project, and then come to our house to help us space them appropriately, etc. She did an excellent job designing and helping us place the plants. Because we paid for her service, our purchase included a three month warranty, which guaranteed if any of the plants were unhealthy, the nursery would either credit us or replace the plants.
    Upon getting the plants home, a neighbor noticed our rose bush was full of fungus. We brought bush back immediately and instead of taking the bush back, the nursery tried to get us to buy product to get the bush healthy. Again, we didn't pick the actual bush ... a worker did, and it was sick when we got it. After going around a bit, we got them to give us a new and healthy rose bush, per the warranty. The new, healthy rose bush is thriving in our yard.
    Fast forward a month and we noticed that the most expensive bush we bought (approx. $365) was very sick. We called, and physically went to Shady Hill to resolve the issue. The owner claimed to have stopped by our home on a few different occassions to look at the bush, but if he did, he made a point to not let us know he was there (we work from home). The owner claimed it was a watering issue, but we had been watering, feeding and doing everything we needed to do. Our landcaping is actually quite impeccable, so it's clear that we work hard to keep everything healthy and thriving.
    We had an arborist look at the bush, and he said it was clearly a case of Needlecast. We were still within the warranty time period, and the owner refused to honor his warrantee to either replace the bush or give us a credit. We continued to call him and try to work this out and he ignored it and us.
    We will not buy another thing at this nursery ever again. BUYER BEWARE!
