    During my 2 years renting an apartment from a complex, phone calls, voicemails, and messages via their Web portal were seldom if ever answered, and they did not have an email listed on their website to contact. The office itself was only open by ‘appointment only’ which was impossible to get since you could not get a response to begin with. In preparation for moving out, I had messaged the complex’s leasing office via their portal so there would be proof of my requests and I inquired about the requirements for moving out. They stated that I needed to provide a 30 day notice and fill out a form to notify them that I was moving out, which they could drop off in my mailbox. After not receiving the form following multiple requests via the portal and by phone over a span of a few months, I finally notified them of my final day via the portal with a 30 day notice from that point. I did not receive a response, and after multiple attempts I eventually messaged the manager regarding the acknowledgment of my move out date (as well as requested an estimated date for when the maintenance work being done on my apartment would be completed.) I did not receive any response but did receive a move out statement at my door confirming my last day, last month’s rent amount and security deposit amount. When moving out, the work being completed by maintenance staff on my bathroom had still not been completed after over a month, without any response even after multiple requests from me regarding an estimated completion date so I would be able to clean the apartment fully. I bagged up their supplies with a note stating it was supplies left by maintenance so I would not be charged and could clean. I still have not received any response after trying to contact them regarding my security deposit. After moving out, I no longer have access to contact them via the portal or to the messages I sent them. I have been moved out for over 30 days now. My security deposit reimbursement should be $965.
