This business has an unfair contractual practice to charge extra to customers which were not requested by customers. And customers can't dispute the charges . We were forced to contract with this company due to the lack of laundry facilities on campus . We contracted for the Basic Plan . We are being charged additional for dry cleaning that this company just randomly decides to perform without our permission. They have our credit card on file from the original contract . They are dry cleaning old navy and gap shirts . I had my daughter send me screen shots of the clothing care instructions on these items and none of them are listed as dry cleaning . They charged more to dry clean a shirt than what I paid for it . I called and emailed and was informed that if I want to avoid incurring additional charges (we paid 800 dollars for this service ) , I would have to pay an additional 250 dollars for their “look sharp” plan. So it is completely false advertising . They decide what needs to be dry cleaned and then over charge you for it. I can’t believe this is allowed . Absolutely disgraceful .

E&R Laundry has been in business for 100 years providing exceptional laundry and dry cleaning to over 100 boarding preparatory and college universities in 7 states. We offer many different levels of service so customers can decide which plan works best for there needs. We are a commercial laundry servicing almost two thousand students per day so we make decisions on how to best treat garments that may fair differently in a home washing environment so if basic wash dry fold plans are choosen there is a risk of additional charges. In these cases we recommend the customer upgrade to include all dry clean and gentle care garments.
