      I no longer trust this shop, and haven't been for many years. I am writing this review because I continue to receive mailers from them monthly, despite me asking them to stop they have ignored me. I think they look for problems and any chance to pad the bill. Last time I actually went there, I did not trust their diagnosis and the trust was broken. Going to another shop I felt they were much more honest and straightforward, and affordable. I actually get mild anxiety when I get their monthly harassing mailer. I feel their mailer, their coupons, their slogan, pics of their owners, their clever LED sign is all a carefully calculated ruse to get you to lower your guard so they can prey upon you, in my opinion. Most of my neighbors feel the same, we try them and never use them again. That is why they have to advertise so much in my opinion, if they were honest and kept customers happy they would have no problem with work and would not have to look for the next mark to prey upon. Again I want nothing to do with this business but they keep sending me mailers so here I am writing a review.

      I was a loyal customer to this place since 2014, its really sad to see how bad this place has gone in just a short few years. Back when **** was manager, he took care of his customers. Unfortunately it doesnt seem as if this company cares about the customers over the $$ these days. As time goes on it seems as if they take their sweet time to do literally anything. They also like to say some things need to be done when they were JUST done or dont need it. Like I said, this is very unfortunate because this company used to be wonderful. After my boyfriends appointment today for inspection. I dont think I would be returning to this establishment again. I understand they just got slammed for faulty inspections in the past His vehicle failed due to a small rust spot under the size of a quarter. He fixed it and brought it back in to re-inspect it just to tell him he needs new wipers now and a light replacement on an aftermarket grill. They never mentioned that when telling him the only thing needed was the rust spot being fixed. All the receptionist said was oh our mechanics are diligent in their work so it must of failed some point from last inspection until now. Its been driven under 20 miles and kept in the garage and fixed in that same garage since then, so Im not sure how the wipers NOW needed fixing. The car is finally inspected but it took them a total of 7 hours to finish inspecting the vehicle. ******** down the road is a bit more pricy but I promise you will get better service there now unfortunately.

      *****, we're sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory visit at our shop, this is now what our customers expect as you have pointed out. We're not sure why the wipers weren't mentioned on the initial inspection and apologize for that. As for the light, while it could have been working initially was not working when it was brought back in so it needed to be corrected. Aftermarket or not, if there is a light on the vehicle it must work per state guidelines. Lights can fail at any time, usually without warning. Ultimately our job is to make sure your vehicle is safe for you to operate and for everyone else on the road. The car was in a month earlier and had 70, not 20 miles on it since being inspected, not that much of a difference but just want to be accurate here. We have not "got slammed for faulty inspections" recently and are not sure where you got that information but it is in fact not true. Actually we have been asked many times by the state, along with state inspection officials, to assist in reinspecting vehicles that customers from other shops have filed complaints with. We will do better to serve our customers in a timely manner and apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your feedback as it only helps improve our service to our customers and have addressed this with our staff.

      I left a car there for a front end alignment, they called and told me I needed an inner tie rod for the front end and they said 400.00 so I said no. I took this to my regular mechanic who does not have a front end rack to change out the bad part. So we changed it out and it was perfect (NO WEAR) I went back to the auto care for my from end alignment an I was told 2 months wait for the rack. I was discriminated against now. So I went to the car to get the part they said was bad to show them they were speechless nothing to say because it was perfect NO Im sorry or anything I was asked to leave now. This is criminal and I want my $200.00 back and $1,500.00 for the loss of the car for a week for no reason whatsoever. I still have the part.

      I brought my car here for a front end alignment they told me I needed an inner tie rod end $400.00 was the estimate. I was a little shocked so I told them I'll have it changed out with a local mechanic $35.00 for the part and $160.00 labor. is the correct price. The part they said was bad was perfect and I changed it out anyway went back for the front end alignment, They told me the Rack was busy for 2 months. Which was a lie for sure so I want to the car and got the part to show them it was perfect and they agreed So I want to be made whole again. I spent hours of my time changing a part out. They are rip offs and I will sent the case to the Secretary of State for a review.

      Word to the Wise: CAUTION IS ADVISED when dealing with this location. The Mechanics did an excellent job. The problem was with the job quotes, different Invoice amounts, final Bill. Both the Manager and Counter Staff kept giving me different quotes every time I showed up for Service. In addition, the different Invoice amounts I never could find out. They would not show me the work order Invoice, so I never knew how much it was going to cost. I needed a new engine gasket cover. ****** had done the diagnostics, and Auto Care Plus could do the work a little cheaper. However, they kept adding un-needed diagnostics, work, that kept changing the price. I had had at least 3 different quotes, and was arm-twisted into having things done that was unnecessary. Additionally, they would never give me a written estimate, just verbal quotes. I did not find out how much I really was going to pay until after the work was completed, and a hard copy of the Bill was in my hand after I paid the full amount. This is illegal. I should have been given both a one time written estimate, and a the final Bill before I had to pay. The Mechanics do do good work, but the Sales Staff and Manager are less than honest. I will never go back there ever again; unless an issue with the gasket cover arises, as they supposedly guarantee the parts and work for 5 years, pro-rated. Be very careful with these people, and agree to nothing until you have a hard copy quote in your hands. And, that there are no add-ons. Again, CAUTION IS ADVISED!! After all was said and done, I payed more in the end with Auto Care Plus than had I stayed with ******, which was a little more than what they had first quoted. Commit to nothing until you know for certain. Otherwise, they will rip you off. Crooks!!
