    Started flight school 2 years ago and put money into an account at the school to use to pay for lessons. Due to mental health issues I needed to stop lessons and needed the money in the account. Air Direct Airways is either refusing to give me back my money (~3200) or they are incompentent and do not know how to. I first tried to get my money back about 2 months ago (today is 11/11/22) and I just have not heard a thing from the school. I try calling. Nothing. I try to speak to them in person, and again, nothing. No instructions on how to get the money. No indication that they are even trying to get my money back. The owner dodges my calls and refuses to speak with me. At this point I'm considering the money stolen and do not know what to do. I was also told by employees, my flight instructor, that the school has a history of not paying their employees for weeks on end as well as not reimbursing the instructors for costs that the school is supposed to reimburse. So the school seems to have a very hard time managing their money and honestly if this is how the conduct business they should be put out of business because the are scammers.

    Dear Mr. ****:

    Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address this issue. The customer was reimbursed
    in full last week. We feel it is important to note that he was reimbursed before we received your
    letter.

    The customer was correct in that we did take an unacceptably long time to process the
    reimbursement. Although not an excuse, but rather an explanation, key personnel needed to
    process the reimbursement were out sick with COVID and out of town on a business matter. As
    we are all experiencing daily, things are taking longer than they should in the new post pandemic
    world.
