I ordered my Corvette through MacMulkin Chevrolet on January 27, 2025, and wired them a $3,000 deposit. The estimated delivery time was 23 months. There was a $3,000 ****** member rebate applicable to my purchase, provided the vehicle was successfully delivered before April 30th. Based on the original timeline, I should have been eligible for this rebate, even with minor delays. However, due to the huge delay, my vehicle was not delivered until recentlynearly 5 months after the order datewell beyond the anticipated timeframe. As a result, my ****** rebate expired. Additionally, I incurred extra costs from leasing a vehicle, paying rent for an unused garage, and experienced significant inconvenience. During the waiting period, I noticed there was no progress on the vehicle build. I reached out to MacMulkin Chevrolet to request that my deposit be applied to an in-stock vehicle instead, so I could still qualify for the rebate. My request was rejected. More recently, I contacted both the dealership and ** seeking compensation for the lost rebate and other related expenses, but all my requests were denied. I find it very unfair that the customer is expected to bear the full burden of delays and financial losses caused by the factorys issues. I am requesting BBBs assistance to help secure a fair and satisfactory resolution before I proceed with the final purchase. Thank you for your attention and support.Initial Complaint

On July 6, 2023 My Chevrolet Colorado broke down and I had it towed to MacMulkin Chevrolet for repair as it was covered under warranty. As of today, July 21, 2024, (over 380 days later!!!!!) my vehicle is still not ready for pickup. I have visited the dealership almost weekly for the past year and been told there were *delays in ordering parts *incorrect parts being received *faulty parts received *delays in actual repairs *more faulty parts *more delays *repairs that did not solve the problem, amongst a plethora of other weekly reasons and excuses for my vehicle not being repaired. The situation became frustrating in November 2023 when I needed a loaner vehicle comparable to the vehicle that was in the shop (a pickup truck with plow) of which, the shop was unable to provide. At that time I began discussing with and presenting to the dealership a request for reimbursement for payments made on the vehicle for the timeframe it was in the shop, which (380 days) by any industry standards in unacceptable. I have requested a conversation with the GM/CHEVY representative to discuss this situation and those requests have been ignored by management of the dealership. I sat at the dealership for 6 hours on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 waiting to speak to the owner of the dealership. I was told that he (*** Thompson, Sr) was in the office and would be out to see me. At closing time, I was told that he had left for the day. I am looking for guidance to encourage the dealership to assist me in obtaining reimbursement for the loss of the use of my vehicle for over a year. The requested reimbursement includes: monthly payments for the time frame the vehicle was in the shop, cost of registration and insurance for the year it has been in the shop, and the cost of hiring a plow for the season since the vehicle I purchased for the task was in the shop the entire season. I received email from dealer to bring this amount attached in the email, when I got there, they said I owe $100 dollars more! I paid on my cc, then they asked me to run to the registry to register my vehicle, when I got to the registry, they said check is paid $81 over the amount! When I went back to the dealer, I advised this over amount is owed to me since you already charged my cc $100 dollars, they are denying the amount owedInitial Complaint

On June 26, 2023 I dropped off my 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 at Macmulkin Chevrolet dealership. It had a lot of problems. I don't know what's going on every time I get in contact whit someone they give me the runaround. I just want to know what's going on I'm running out of patience. I made an appointment for my car to be fixed prior to that I also had a appointment for a loaner car when I got there to drop off my car they didn’t see an appointment for a loner car but they gave me one anyway so first they pulled up with a small old car then I said i need a bigger car bc I have kids so they pulled up with another car a 2015 old dirty suv whatever I took it later on that day I seen the ac wasn’t working it was 85 out and I have a newborn baby so I called 10 times finally answered so I told them about the car they said if ur car is still in the shop tomorrow we will switch out your cars so I get a call back like an hour later thinking they are telling me about my car no they call to tell me I need to give the car back I’m not old enough to rent a car they need it back when they new how old I was when I rented the car so whatever I gave them the car back the next morning 2 weeks later they called me told me I did damage to the car I need to pay for it I didn’t even have the car for a full day and ontop of that they never even took pictures prior when I got the car and all this time they had my car they haven’t even looked at it every time I call they either don’t answer or answer and tell me they’re going to call me back but then don’t they keep saying they’re so busy backed up somebody is going to look at your car today. My car has now been there for four weeks. I haven’t got a call telling me they diagnosed my car, never mind fixed it. It’s just sitting there on top of them blaming me for damage to the vehicle that I never did wanting me to pay for it and when I return the rental car, they never even gave me a walk around to make sure I didn’t do anything to the car , they are very unprofessional how I have to keep calling them to see what’s going on with my car and they never answer the phone. I am quite disgusted with it all and I believe this is a reason for an appointment but I am now left without a car for four weeks now with my car sitingBusiness Response

To Whom it May Concern,
Ms. *******'s 2021 Cadillac Escalade was brought to our service facility for an intermittent skip in the engine. Due to the fact that the vehicle was purchased at another dealership she does not get express service. As of today her vehicle is being worked on.
The warranty provides a rental for up to five days and a rental requires adults to be 25 or older. This was discovered after our agent provided the customer with the rental that she was not 25 and therefore it needed to be returned, While the rental vehicle was in her custody damage occurred which she will be responsible for prior to picking up her Cadillac.

I never made damage to the rental car I never even had the car 24 hours they never took pictures before I rented the car or when I dropped it off the next morning they never walked me around to made sure everything looked good I think someone els did the damage and they r blaming me if they seen the damage when I first returned the rental car I’m sure they would of said something right there and then not 2 and a half weeks later

Also I had an appointment for my vehicle I did not expect express service I didn’t expect my car to with the first day or two but also didn’t expect it to be sitting for almost a month not even looked at never mind worked on and every time I would call they ether wouldn’t pick up the phone or they would and say they would call me back the same day with an answer about my car and I never got a got a call back I have never experienced something like this in my life I would of never thought I would have Ben treated like the with a 120 thousand dollar car also I have Ben to other dealers that I did not get my car from and they worked on my car in the same week and also provided me with a loner car had no problem with me or I had none with themInitial Complaint

Put a refundable deposit down on a new Corvette. No official allocation was ever submitted to General Motors. Due to family growing I decided to back out of the transaction. I submitted an email on 11/02/2022 telling them that I am backing out of the transaction. Got a quick response in regards to where I wanted my refund check sent to. I replied to that email accordingly the same day. I have then sent 9 emails, have not received any response. So in 12 days I have not received any refund, no response, no call back. Car was taken in to dealership in March 2022, Transmission issue and was fixed under warranty. They gave it back fixed. However, a few weeks after getting it back, the car was not running smoothly so I took it back. They proceeded to fixed a rear mount, torque converter, etc. So they obiviously did not fix it the first time it went in in March. And during the second time more noise came out of the car then before it went in the first time. When I picked up the car for the 2nd time there was a knocking sound evident that was not there prior to the first visit in March or second time. They kept the car for an additional 5 weeks, we followed up with them weekly, they were able to hear the sound but was unable to find the issue. After 5 weeks they said they no longer hear it, don't know what caused it and to come pick it up. When we returned to pick up the car we noticed they had stolen a dash cam off of the windshiled that was glued on. They took no ownership of that said I had to file a police report. The Knocking sound returned, this time I took it to ***** Chevy, however they are also un able to find the problem but can hear the sound. They can't do anything or request for 3rd party chevy engineers becuse it came out of warranty during the 3 visits to the NH dealership. Chevy Corporate is not helpful, says I have to go back to Macmulkin Chevrolet Cadillac to have them deal with it. Not sure how safe I feel since they were the original cause of this issue, they gave it back unfixed and dismissed, theft, and can't even get a managment to return my call. Basically, I am told that I must subject myself to this untrustworthy company to deal with my car. Where I would just like them to help process it so ****** Chevy can ask for a 3rd party engineer to do it.Business Response

I talked to the customer on 10/3 after receiving a voice message. We talked at some length about what the issue is and how it is not always present, vehicle does run and drive fine at this time.
The vehicle will be returning for diagnosis once we can agree on a day and time. Diagnosis may take more than one day due to the nature of the noise is not consistent.

Placed a $2000 refundable deposit for a new Corvette Z06 and have been requesting cancellation and return of the deposit for over a month. I have been told several times a check will be sent but nothing ever arrives.Business Response
