    I just purchased a mulcher from this store in ******. After 2 hours of using it it broke in 3 places. The store mislead me of its purpose so used it based on what they told using to find out it was never designed to handle what I was using it for. When I tried to return it, I was was told I abused it so it was my issue. Another employee agreed with me that it was never designed to do what I doing with it that I was never told before purchasing it. Purchased and broke on Saturday October 19, 2024 Upon leaving I asked the salesman who rejected my getting a store credit "You value a 1 time sale over your reputation? He said yes the 1 time sale is more important. Based on this experience the company does not stand behind what they sell. And they mislead customers before buying than additional detail about the products come forth voiding the credit.

    I'm sorry you weren't able to use the item you purchased. It appears that you purchased the wrong tool for the job at hand. The ****************** Shredder is designed to shred leaves, light twigs or clippings to mulch. Judging from the amount of extreme damage that this unit undertook it was obvious that what you were attempting to shred was heavy stock like branches. Had you realized the machine wasn't up to the task and returned to us in a lightly used condition we would gladly accept a return or exchange for a more suitable item. But that's not the case here. The machine was completely ruined. Broken and bent tines, reset switch in pieces broken off with a hole in the side of the unit. Abuse from repeated misuse. Unable to be reused for anything.Regarding our staff telling you it would do the job is misleading. We spent nearly 20 minutes helping you understand the capabilities if this shredder. Our staff is quite knowledgeable and well intentioned to provide assistance, advice and answer questions. But once you're on your own, using the equipment, it's your responsibility to use good judgment if it's not working for your purposes.
