    I participated as a consigner in the 3 Little Monkeys Children’s Consignment Sale event from March 10-12, 2023. I am owed consignment monies from the sale and have not received my funds since I was told checks were sent several weeks ago. I was told to follow-up with sale management if I still hadn’t received a check by 3/31/23, which I did and I was told that they would not stop payment on the check and they could not ensure me when it would arrive, or if it would even arrive at all. If I am not going to receive a check at all, then I’d just like to know as this differs from what was stated in the consignment contract.

    To whom it may concern,

    per our consignment agreement, checks for consignment proceeds to be issued within 10 business days. Last day of Event was Sunday, March 12th, 10th business day is March 34th. As per attachment check was issued on March 24th.When Miss *******s contacted me multiple times about the check, I told her check was issued by the bank and on it's way. It wasn't good enough for her and she insisted I put stop payment on it and issue her money thru other ways like Zeller or Venmo, to which I informed her I wouldn't do since it provides no protection for me. I also told her that 8 calendar days (March 24th thru April 1st) is too soon to put in stop payment since mail was slow in that area for days. She didn't agree and filed this complaint. I put in stop payment (see attached) and issued her new check (see attached) to not prolong this conflict. 

    Bar Harbor Bank and Trust checks are tracked and it shows check made to her on April 1st (see attached), so for no faut of mine, check is missing per Ms *******s.

    In no way there was violation of our contract where it clearly states that check to be issued within 10 business days, so her complain has no basis to be filed. Proof of her cashing new check is attached.
