      I reserved 2 nights at the campground. We attempted to stay there but were unable to because the site caused water to run directly into my tent. I have a CPAP and this caused an electrical hazard and risk to my medical device. Because there was so much water in my tent we couldnt stay the second night either for the same reason. We went to a hotel at 9:30 PM the first night and took down the tent the next day after it stopped raining. I asked where to set up our tent from the employee graining the road. I set up exactly where he said. Staff refused any refund.

      This response is being submitted outside the 10-calendar day request as the letter was addressed to a previous owner, so it was not timely received.

      Attached please find the signed Terms and Conditions/Liability Waiver as well as the Cancellation and Refund Policies provided to the complainant, and electronically signed during the reservation and check-in process.  

      Beach Camping Area provides 24-hour emergency access to a night host on premises for any guest in need. Had staff been contacted, we would have immediately had the opportunity to provide assistance and support. Our records indicate that the only discussion had was with a gentleman who was not this registered guest, at 3pm on 8/20/24. We also responded to a derogatory review submitted online by the complainant days later. This complainant never directly contacted the campground prior to submitting this complaint. We would have welcomed the opportunity to seek resolution to the complaint.
