I've been a customer at the North Conway Prompto, I have been bringing cars there for over 15 years. Recently all three of my vehicles have been over filled by roughly two quarts. I found out when my Honda shut off while I was driving. I had to get my car towed to the mechanics only to find out oil had flooded all my spark plugs and destroyed my distributor. Cost me a tow, the parts and the labor to repair the damage caused by a prompto employee who overfilled my oil. 10 minute oil change turned into a week long hassel and major expense. Checked my other two cars Subaru and Toyota both those over filled as well. Because of this, I will not be returning to Prompto for any further service.

They did not place the cap on my oil tank, which later created a leak, damaging sensors and causing 500 in damage. They initially offered to clean, then refused to. The mechanic spoke with then, They saw photos and I even returned with the damaged sensors. I spoke with the manager. The email to his manager bounces back. I emailed corporate and they never responded. Between lost time at work and paying a mechanic I lost over 1k. I'm asking only for 500.

      Hello,

When the customer returned with the oil cap not installed correctly, we apologized for the issue and insured the oil level was back to full. We cleaned the oil spray, and we did agree to pay for it to be professionally cleaned. The customer returned with a large invoice from a garage stating they needed to replace 2 oxygen sensors due to the oil spray. This seemed highly irregular and not related to the oil change or mistake with the cap. The oxygen sensor is in the exhaust pipe and not exposed to the oil spray, and the wiring is in a protective sleeve and exposed to elements including water and road grime. Oil spray for a short amount of time would not have damaged these sensors. Prompto is willing to look at this claim again with fresh eyes if the customer can provide the original Prompto invoice and any paperwork from the garage as well as any photos of the sensors or oil spray. Prompto investigates all claims and accusations and focuses on customer service. I hope we can receive the proper documentation and come to a fair conclusion.
