1rst/ Cullen is a good company his people do very good work.. secretary, wife, all great people to deal with on the phone,HELPFUL AND SUMPATHIC.
Now to continue with my story which is why we are giving Cullen a 2
Cullen concrete was hired by my contractor, and our contractor never paid them, and we have the proof .
.Cullen did a mechanics lien on my home for 18k., which we had paid our contractor 20K for Cullens work.
Cullen said in his afadavit to the court that he SUFFERED and incurred MONETARY DAMAGES, LOST INCOME, INTEREST, COSTS and ATTORNEY FEES.
Cullen says that we are enjoying the benefits of labor he provided and that WE ARE THE ONE WHO FAILED, NEGLECTED AND REFUSED TO PAY?? we did not REFUSE .WE DID PAY.
our contractor stole 89K from us, he never paid Cullen or 3 of his contractors. We were left with a cellar that cost us 89K..
We needed to get a home equity LOC, opened CC for materials & pay contractors to finish the work....So for something that would have cost us 89K, cost us 180K.
How in the world does that mean we are enjoying Cullens work?
They've been in business for 55 years.... MAKING THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS & THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS..and he is hurting for 18K.
We are on SS, retired people and we got hacked by 2 companys.....TOTALING 108K, plus attorney fees ourselves.
    AND HE IS HURTING?
We spoke to Cullen ever day since this happened....he faked when he sympathized with us....
when all along he knew he would be putting a lien on our retirement home that we used our 401K for. we are the ones CRYING, not him.
we had communicated with Cullen about payments that were being made to him by my contractor. he paid Cullen $3,500.00 on the 20K owed.
we are not saying to not use this company for your work, you need to be careful who you do business with because contractors are all scammers now a days....my contractor flew the coop and we will never see the hard earned money of 89K w saved for years!!!
    CULLENS BUSINESS ETHICS ARE QUESTIONABLE.
