I called Flint Appliance Service to evaluate a noise my washer was making in the spin cycle. We made an appointment for Clarence Flint to come on August 31st 2022. I did 2 washes the night before with the same knocking noise during the spic cycle. The washes went well otherwise. I thought the noise might be a sign of a serious issue with my washing machine. Clarence Flint and the new man taking over the business, Mason B. arrived on the morning of August 31st. I explained the problem to them. They found it was 2 metal tubes in back of the machine banging on the machine. They tied the 2 metal tubes/ pipes together and ran it for a short spin. It seemed like that would work to me and them. I paid them by check to Flint Appliance for $80.00 on 8/31/22. I was done with all my wash so I didn't run a wash for 5 days. 5 days later, September 5, 2022, Labor Day, I did a wash and in the spin/ drain cycle the water poured on the bathroom floor and onto the hallway down stairs down a wall and onto the floor and from the downstairs kitchen ceiling onto the wooden kitchen counter and floor. I placed towels everywhere to mop the water damage up. I also ran a fan on the wet floor all night. I also called Flint Appliance and left a message on their phone on the afternoon of Sept. 5th, 2022. I did not get a response. I had a mess on my hands and someone suggested I call ****** ******, a business that did call me back and they came that night to discover that the drain in back of the washer had become disconnected from the wall and that's what had caused the major water flow. I paid them $300.00 by check on September 16th for their visit to look at and fix the washer. On September 13th I called Flint Appliance ( also called MB Appliance) and talked to the woman who answered the phone and told her what had happened. She said she would tell "him". Besides the $ 300.00 fee to ****** ****** I have significant kitchen ceiling damage to fix. No phone call from Flint A.

The hoses that we tied back were the water inlet hoses which would not have caused any sort of problem such as what she described, we did call back the following business day as is stated on the voicemail message. My office manager did call back and was informed that Mrs ****** was all set. Thank you

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

The drain hose crosses the 2 inlet hoses in the back of the washer and I think it was moved and disconnected.   I didn't touch anything back there.    If I was called back after the leak on September 5 th  yes the problem was resolved by ****** ****** the eve of the 5th as they connected the drain back up.   I was charged by them and the kitchen ceiling is stained brown so that needs to be repaired.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ******
