    I got into a car accident around 12:30pm on January 7th and the police department called RGA auto to pick up the vehicle, in which they are not open on Sunday I had to wait till today the 8th to call and pick it up, in which they are trying to charge me $1,075 dollars for towing it 12 minutes away and keeping it overnight because I couldn’t pick it up since they were closed, it wasn’t in the lot for more than 24 hours

         First off, I'm sorry that you were involved in a motor vehicle accident and am glad you're ok. Thank you for reaching out with your complaint/concern. RGA Tire and Auto Repair is closed on Sundays, however RGA Towing is available 24 hours a day per our agreement with the Police department. When you originally called Monday morning to pick up your car you were giving a price from one of our office staff which had auto populated charges from the scene that the driver had listed. This was explained to you, and we called you back shortly after the towing manager was able to look at the invoice. I have since changed that policy where no charges are explained until it has been reviewed by the manager. this being said you were charged for two days of storage and the recovery. Per our contract with the police department, storage charges are billed from 12:00am to 12:00pm. anything in that time frame is considered a "day of storage". Attached is the invoice that you received from us. Please feel free to reach out with any more questions/ concerns.
