On 11/21/23 we purchased ***************************************** the amount of $2,895.00 from Sylvan Learning of **********. We used 4 hours of instruction and on 1/28/24, we had to take a break from Sylvan instruction. Unfortunately, when we tried to reschedule for summer instruction, the center was extremely difficult to communicate with, they were unresponsive with large gaps in time for communication. On 7/11/24, after no success in getting on the summer schedule, we requested a refund of our remaining 44 hours of instruction. ****** *****, Director of *************** Success, submitted this refund to Executive Director/Co-Owner *** **** and his wife on 7/11/24, and again on 8/9/24. After apologies from ****** for the delay and no response from ***, I attempted numerous calls and texts to *** beginning on 9/9/24, and he finally called me on 10/22/24. *** informed me he would be refunding me via credit card that same day and if the credit card refund did not go through, he would send a check the next day on 9/23/24. The expected amount of the unused 44 hours is $2,627. I have yet to receive the refund and since this date, *** has become unresponsive to me in both center voice messages, center texts, and texts to his personal cell phone that he provided me with at **************?.
