    Downey Driveways no showed our appointment for seal coating. He called to apologize and said he would be there Friday at 8:00am and it was a misunderstanding. I told him if he didnt show up I would be going with another company. Downey no showed again! If you value your time I would pick a more dependable company.

    We mistakenly prepaid Bill for seal coating and crack filling as we were leaving for a camping trip. Once home several days later, we noted that the seal coating in parts of the driveway had already rubbed off, some of the crack areas he was supposed to fill had settled and were not level to the driveway, other spots also already cracking, and several tire marks were made and still remain despite not being driven on until at least 24 more hours than he stipulated. My husband called and left messages with **** twice. The day after the first message, he actually picked his sign up from our driveway without stopping. Furthermore, he was two doors down from us and our neighbor told him that we had left a message for him and he did not stop by or call back. Its been 12 days and he has not returned the calls. Moreover, he did not leave or mail a receipt for the service.The price was over $1,000. Obviously, we wont be using his services again. But I wanted to share our experience in case this is his modus operandi and not a one off.

    LEFT THE DRIVEWAY A MESS. Was supposed to seal cracks with hot sealer. Instead, left globs of driveway coating over cracks

    Do not use this company. Bill (owner) does not stand behind his work. Our driveway was devoid of sealant a few months after application. It appears that he applied a very thin coat of a cheap product. We have left numerous voicemails for Bill that he has not returned.
