I gave them one star because zero wasn't an option. Wasn't feeling well on Tuesday, went in to make sure it wasn't strep. They told me I was suffering from allergies and to take ****** and *******. Still felt lousy on Wednesday and on Thursday I took a home COVID test and it came out positive. Went back as soon as I could on Thursday evening only to be told that they weren't taking anymore patients for the day. WHAT?!?! This is your misdiagnosis!! I wanted to get ******** but they gave me excuses saying that they may not prescribe it and insurance won't cover it and it will cost $1500, and I should come back first thing the next morning. I left there, arranged a telehealth visit with my insurance carrier and in about an hour had ******** waiting for me at the pharmacy for a $25 copay. It is crystal clear to me that the people at ConvenientMD have no clue what they are doing and they don't give a **** about their patients.

stopped by Convinced MD in ******, ** around 7:40 PM today and signed in using the front tablet. However, I was refused service shortly after, with no clear explanation. I didnt see any signage or notification regarding the last patient check-in time. The front desk staff told me they couldnt take me in because it was close to 8 PM, and provided a phone number supposedly for a supervisor. However, I noticed that another young woman who checked in at the same time was allowed to be seen. This inconsistency is frustrating, and I would appreciate a clear explanation as to why I was turned away while another patient was accepted under the same circumstances.

Was told on phone I could pay cash for a test to assist with a skin problem suspected to resemble leprosy, ntm. After arriving a physician aid did not allow it after taking my payment and modified the bill to reflect a chest xray for lung tuberculosis which is not what I was even there for. So no results and they stole my payment to help pay for their xray toy after saying "I went to school for a long time to recognize " they failed to acknowledge I was there for a Nontuberculosis skin issue entirely.

I visited convient md on sept 8, 2024. I was quite unwell with fever, sever abdomilan pain, diarreah and vomiting. A young, very nice medical assistant did vitals and swabbed me to test for covid and the flu. This swab barely went in to just one nostril for maybe 2 seconds. 10 min later a PA entered the room and announced that I had influenza B. This provider showed zero compassion or empathy for my plight, she also never touched me, and promptly left. 5 hours later as i became more ill in ended up in the ** where I was diagnosed with colitis. There was absolutely NO flu of any kind! This erroneous diagnosis with directions to go home excerbated my suffering and endangered my life.Hope to can serve to help others. ** **** **********

PSA for customers with high deductibles. ASK FOR A CASH PRICE. ConvenientMD thinks that we as consumers should know to ask this in a world of "everyone should have great health insurance". The reality is, plans are expensive and deductibles are HIGH. If you go to a gas station, they are required to disclose cash vs credit price. Medical providers should have to do the same. I am now paying TWICE what I would have for a 10 minute visit, just because I have insurance. If I had no insurance, the price would have been less than $200. Clinics historically were a more financially feasible option in the event your regular doctor's ****** could not get you in the same day. In fact, I can take my dog to an urgent care for less than I am paying for my visit. Yes, consumers should know their policy before they go to a clinic. But, we should also be allowed to make educated and informed decisions. That requires being provided with all of the information BEFORE submitting a claim to insurance. ConvenientMD just makes it SOOOOOO easy by getting a credit card right up front for what they tell you is your deductible, even if that is wrong information. It isn't for the consumer, it's purely so they can get their money. It is a business. And Anthem is just as much at fault for their "agreement" to allow Convenient MD to charge their members $375.Don't expect to get any customer service assistance. Billing refers you to the clinic, the clinic refers you back to billing and that is if you can get anyone to answer your calls. They have taken zero responsibility in anything that could have been done differently. They put the blame solely on the patient who should apparently know to ask for a cash price up front.

Ive been to Convenient MD twice now & the staff has given me great care but, beware of their billing practices! I was told today they dont send bills through the mail. They text/ email them. I never received those & they sent my bill to collections! This is my second bad experience with billing. Last time I wanted my debit card taken off my file & she refused. I wont be going there anymore because of this.

Stay away from Convenient MD! You have better choices. When this chain started and we lived on the Seacoast, the service was great. Now it is awful. They churn the bills by running as many tests as possible. We recently got a COLLECTIONS call from billing from 2022. We had never received a bill or a call that there was an issue with the billing. We had to investigate on our own and verify that our insurance coverage was active (we knew we did not have a gap when we changed insurance) and the bill was never submitted to the insurance. Yet 3 weeks later we were in for a visit and they did receive the bill. Had Convenient ** timely tracked ** down we could have helped with the error. My guess is someone transposed the numbers when billing and just decided we did not have insurance. Now they will take NO RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR ERROR. **************** people are horrible and RUDE.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got treated 3 times last year. It took them 7 months to get me my bill. Impossible to talk to someone on the phone to set up a payment plan unless you have 2.5 hours to sit and wait. I decided to email them instead. Took over a week to get a response. I was told I was put on a payment plan. Well somehow that payment plan was cancelled and they sent me right to collections without even a notification or anything. Impossible to get into contact with. Never will be going here again and will tell anyone I know to go anywhere else. Unless you want 30 minutes to pay your bill before being sent to collections. Get it together ConvenientMD

My husband was seen at the newly opened convenient MD on ********** in ******** ** on 1/13/24. All in, it took him 3 hours to complete the visit. The provider was nice but alone at the facility. No x-ray tech for x-rays. She tested him for strep but not COVID despite his symptoms of nasal congestion and cough. She prescribed prednisone and told him to go to alternative urgent care if he developed a fever to have an xray. In 1/15/24, 2 days later, he tested positive for COVID at home. He was not feeling better and was seen at a different urgent care facility in ******** ** on 1/18/24. He was told to stop the Prednisone because it was likely decreasing his immune response to COVID, thereby, prolonging his COVID duration. It is shocking that the Convenient MD provider chose not to test for COVID. It is also absurd to open the door of an urgent care facility with only one provider on-site and no x-ray capability. The company is at fault for this. As personable as the provider was, she was unable to safely triage my husbands symptoms which put him at risk.
