On 7/25/24, I hired **** ******* (dba "The Go2Guys") to perform general contracting work at my house, as agreed upon in the attached invoice. It included insulating the attic and fixing/adding plywood that was missing and/or needed replacing. He quoted that portion of this work project at $2,975.00.The Go2Guys began work the week of 7/29/24. Work was completed on 8/2/24. When I got back home on August 2, 2024, I emailed *** ******* that the painting in the kitchen corner wall where a hole had been patched was the wrong color, and just left that way (see photo), and that the kitchen ceiling was not completed around the edges & light fixtures (see photos). For the $575 that was charged for this portion of the work, Mr. ******* returned the next week to correct this sloppiness. There was also a crack in the bedroom ceiling over the attic (see photo), like something almost dropped through it - or someone almost stepped through it, from the attic. On September 21, 2024, I went up to the attic to see about the crack and was appalled that plywood had NOT been installed, but rather the few random pieces that I already had up there were pulled over to the sides to HIDE areas along the sides and spots in the middle of the attic - that were NOT INSULATED. See the photos.I emailed Mr. ******* attic photos on 9/21/24. He admitted this was unacceptable and that he didn't go into the attic to confirm the work was done (see his text). He offered to send someone out on Thurs 10/3, but I needed everything done at the house by October 1st. Hence why I started this whole project in the summer. He has since ignored my email attempts to resolve this matter.I request a refund of $2,975.00 from The Go2Guys for the attic portion of this project work which Mr ******* agreed on 9/21/24 was NOT completed as we initially agreed upon (see his text), plus $575 for the damage done to the bedroom ceiling by his employee in the attic, which will now require repair and repainting.
