    Dear BBB On 6/20/24, I gave a payment of $2,600 to ******************************* of Goundrey / ******** Funeral Home for my Mother's ashes. Approximately a week later, after purchasing an Urn, I contacted ******************* for a pick up date only to be told I wasn't entitled to the ashes and they would be given to her recent husband. I immediately requested a refund from ******************* and was rudely denied. The money I used was from my personal funds and not from the ************** Policy or Estate. I was under no obligation to pay for the ashes and if another party wanted them they should've paid or waited for the funds to be released. I live on state service and this transaction will practically deplete my bank account. I've tried contacting ******************* and company several times with no response. i reaching out to your office in hope we can resolve this issue and a full refund will be granted.Sincerely;*************************

    We have already responded at length to this complaint. This is the same person posting the same complaint a second time. He stopped payment from his credit card company. We responded to the credit card company stating that we are not contesting them pulling back the funds, as another family member came forward and payed for the services for ******************* once they found out what her son did.  I presume that he has not received a refund from the credit dard companh yet and is posting this complaint a second time, in the hopes that the BBB will somehow help to expedite that process, which the funeral home has absolutely nothing to do with?
