    Mr. B***** Manager of the Salem location was alerted to a support problem with a radio he is selling on consignment. Kenwood notified service centers that no parts were or would be available sometime in April 2021 and the TM-642 was on the list making it very unlikely that you could find anyone willing to work on the radio when it had an issue and that they could obtain any needed parts. A sales person said they dont normally take radios that have no support because of the problems the new owner would face if service was needed and since Kenwood has stopped parts even if you could do it yourself you face long odds in getting your part. This location manager feels differently. If you are shopping for a old kenwood ask around if your radio is on this list and then weigh your options. I could not attach it to this review.
