    I put down 1,500$ for a downpayment for my husband's hearing aids after the initial visit.
    The business was Miracle-Ear in Somersworth, NH.. The business sent us his hearing aids about 2 weeks after the initial visit to Miracle-Ear. We did return for several consults before he died. His death was the result of a broken hip that happened on February 13, 2024
    Nature of my dispute: My husband died on February 24, 2024. The company promises a 30-day money-back guarantee. I did return the hearing aides and he assured me that I would get a full return. He stated this many times in person, and emails. to date, I have not received this downpayment.

    On 2-10-2017 a pair of Solution 1 CIC 5400 hearing aides were purchased from the Miracle Ear company mentioned in this complaint. There was an issue with the product and they were sent back to the company for repair. When they were returned to the center they did not fit correctly and had to have several adjustments until I was finally told they were no good and I needed a new pair. During that time the initial technician Michael Flaherty had left the office and it was being manned by guest technicians from other centers filling in. They are the ones who advised me I needed to get a new pair of hearing aids. The new pair of Meenergy 2 RIC R BTE RITC Digital aides were purchased on 3-14-2022. For several months I went to the Miracle Ear Center, at least twice each month, complaining that I was unable to hear with them. I was advised each time that they "will get it working, you'll be happy with them in a few days". In the first 30 days that I was unable to hear with them there was no refund offered, I the first year of purchase there was no mention of replacement only false words that they would get them "fixed", and I would be happy. After getting nowhere with the fill in technicians I learned that the center had retained a permanent technician and I made an appointment for June 19, 2023. Michael B*** has tried unsuccessfully to correct my hearing with the present hearing aids with multiple adjustments. He called his supervisor in my presence but was told it is past the year date for "doing anything" about the hearing aids. At present I have spent a total of $12,730. I have gone at least monthly to the Somersworth hearing center and have had to take family members with me getting them out of work to attend. I requested my records twice so I could tell just how many times I had gone to them, but these were refused. I also asked for a phone call from the Supervisor Elio but no call has been received. I am 92 and my family has had to assist me with this problem.
