If quality work is something that matters to you, look somewhere else. The aluminum trans pan has an o-ring groove with an o-ring to seal it. They torqued the **** out of it during install, crushed the gasket, couldn’t get it to seal so they used a moroso gasket and smothered both sides of it with Ford Grey RTV. This blew out in less than 2 years and they have no idea who worked on the truck and want nothing to do with me. They just kept arguing with me that the pan doesn’t have a o-ring and this is how it works.
I have a heavily built diesel truck and chose these folks because they are recommend all the time on the 603 Diesel Page on Facebook. My truck has a built transmission that was having some issues so the builder shipped me a new one for a warranty. Instead of having me drive back out to Ohio, he said I could choose a shop in my area to install. I did some research and these guys came with good reviews but wanted about $300 more than everyone else in the area to swap out the transmissions. The builder agreed to go with these guys and he spent the extra bucks to have a quality shop install it. Their job was to swap out the transmissions, change the aluminum trans pan over from the old one to the new one, fill it with fluid and that’s it.This was 12/2020.
The trans pan gasket recently blew out, less that 2 years. I called them and let them know, they said sure bring it in. I took the company truck off the schedule for a few days, cancelled a few jobs and drive an hour to the shop to drop it off like they asked. They look at it and said they can’t tell if it’s the gasket it it, they don’t have the gasket in stock and they can’t do it for a month! I took it home and did it myself. Took 2 hours to get the RTV’d pan off the trans and scraped off all the rtv and to seal it the right way. No leaks since. I asked for them to take care of the cost of fluid and gasket and it didn’t happen.
I’m not recommending this place to anyone and won’t be back.

We are sorry about your frustration and wish we could have come to a resolve for you. Unfortunately our warranty is a 1 year labor warranty, your job being almost 2 years outside of repair date it is clearly past the warranty period. We also did try an offer parts but you declined, and insisted that we pay $400 to
Have it done elsewhere. After seeing the pictures you posted online we also strongly feel that the pan had been off because none of those gaskets are types we have used in the past. Aluminum pans are known for leaks so it isn’t uncommon to have maintenance done to keep them from leaking. We would also think that after the new transmission was installed after a few thousand miles have gone by that you would have done a trans service and had to remove the pan. Again we are sorry for your issues but strongly feel we have tried and done everything to make it right with you but unfortunately can’t help you.
