    I have been a customer of Simple Energy for over a dozen years, for oil delivery, plumbing, electric work, furnace maintenance and oil tank repair. I have paid my bills and been a loyal customer. A few months ago, I called Simple Energy to ask that oil NOT be delivered as scheduled, as I had half a tank which would last me the rest of the season, and I could not afford oil at this time. I am a senior who lives on Social Security payments. So I wanted to wait till next fall.
    Disregarding my call, the company delivered oil to me. Now I have an outstanding bill of over $700, and I am receiving calls on when I am going to pay it. I have explained the situation multiple times. I have agreed to pay $100 a month, at a time when this is difficult. This was regarded as “not enough” and I was referred to agencies that help people with heating bills. Those sources are out of money till summer, it turns out.
    This situation is extremely frustrating for me, as I have maintained a high credit rating over the years by paying my bills. Why has this company disregarded the wishes of a loyal customer and is now treating me like this? This $700+ bill is an affront, and I am going to register a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
