  We consulted All Roofing for metal flashing for our house in October 2022. Attached is an invoice for $12,000. I gave Norman B***** Sr a check for $6,000 up front to be cashed when work began. In November 2022 scaffolding equipment was dropped off at our house. We did not hear from the company until January. On January 1st, Norman came to our house and told us after looking under shingles we now need a whole new roof. $35,000 total (no financing avail, total due the next week). Said we no longer need the metal flashing, he can return or re-use. On January 5 he came to our house to unload supplies. We told him we cannot afford to spend that money, however he continued to unload. Multiple workers showed up to continue, I told them to stop until we got a second opinion. Workers spent an hour packing up supplies, however the scaffolding was left on our house and is still there to this day. That day (1/5) I cancelled our $6000 check with the bank until an agreement was made for an updated price for: 1 custom window his labor/time & the minimal work he did on our chimney. I contacted Norm on 1/18 requesting a bill, I did not hear back until 2/2 after I called his answering service requesting a call. On 2/3 Norman B***** Jr via text quoted us $5030, later gave us a discount for $4000 which was paid in full. On 2/7 the original check ($6000) was cashed by Norman B***** Sr due to a mistake by our bank. The check was recalled on 2/9 and we were refunded. Norman Jr and Sr are now harassing us by text, saying we must pay the $6000 (no invoice given) for the metal flashing as it was custom/non-refundable (this is not what we were told). They say they will deliver the metal on Monday 2/13. We are refusing the delivery and to pay the $6000 as our invoice is paid. We have felt pressured by this company who communicated poorly and then tried to back us into a corner. We would like the scaffolding to be picked up and have no further contact by the company.
