On July 10,2023 I brought my Mazda 3 to have the windshield replaced I originally paid $200. Iwas told he ordered the wrong windshield and the correct one was $250. I paid him and brought the car back to have the new windshield replaced the next day and I was told again that the new window was also the wrong one. He told me he would order the other option with the 12day lead time and if there was any additional fee, he would take care of it. I waited 2 1/2 weeks and reached out to see if my windshield was delivered. He said he never received it that it probably was damaged in transport. 12 days later I asked again if the reorder was in, he said they delivered the wrong one again and the correct one was in CT. Every few days I followed up on either getting my windshield replaced or a refund and he has done nothing but give me a run around. Last week Aug 29,2023 he told me that my money was left a week ago in the white van on his lot to "Take it and Get Out". When I went to pick it up of course it was not there. It has been 2 months of this run around now. I am not sure what else I can do other than file a complaint against him and his business and file a small claims in court. I have since replaced the windshield through a different company.

On 09/19/22 I filed a glass claim with my insurance company because i needed a new windshield. I was referred to My Guy Autoglass and when we spoke, he agreed to replace my windshield using my insurance, my insurance company called, and he accepted the claim. Over the course of 3 weeks and 5 failed appointments, one of which i went to his shop for and he was late. After arriving and getting ready to do the job, he informed me that the glass had a smear that was not correctable, so he was going to order another one. Then he made multiple appointments with me and failed to show each time. Nov 7, 2022 he was supposed to come to me to fix and then said he ran out of gas. I had been needing to get my car inspected and not able to make an appointment to do so, because of all the failed times. He finally came to my home on Nov 11th and was an hour later than stated, fixed my windshield and left without letting me know he was done or providing me with any documentation. I get my car inspected the next day and they told me I needed to reach back out because the job he had done was terrible. I reach out and he began swearing at me and later texts my boyfriend telling him I was crazy. He claims i forced him to do the job and with aftermarket items. The glass he put in my car had to be replaced a few days later and the company states he used the wrong glass, molding, placement was off, and the primer and urethane was a mess. He took the claim from my insurance and basically pocketed the money. Invoice from company my insurance sent is for $1237.96. I do not think my insurance should have to pay for a job not done as agreed to. I have text messages and pictures of the job he did to prove he did not do the job agreed to as well. I am uploading invoice as documentation from the company who had to come out to replace what he had done. I had to leave work early numerous times for failed appointments including time missed, gas and inconvenience.
