On December 1, 2022, I went to ***** *************** ****************************************************, which is affiliated with Hunterdon Radiological Associates, P.A., to have my wellness mammogram done. At that time, I specifically asked if ***** was an in network facility and was told it was. However, what I was not told was that the doctor, who would be looking at my mammogram and the facility that the image was going to be sent to were NOT in network. Now I am being charged $592.20 for a service that is part of my yearly wellness check-up. I have had my mammograms done at ***** for years and have never had this problem before. Why would ***** involve a doctor and facility that are NOT in network, when they knew that I needed to deal with only IN network doctors and facilities? This was an outright deception on ***** part, and now I am expected to pay for a service that should have been performed only by IN network personnel and sent to an IN network facility. ***** is the responsible party for this problem and should pay for it and not I. I am now being threatened by ****** Imaging PA, **************************************************************, the OUT of network facility, that my mammogram was sent to, with collection, if this bill is not paid. ***** needs to pay this bill that ****** Imaging is sending me, since it was them, and not I, who caused this problem. I have tried numerous times to resolve this situation with *****, but all I get from ***** is alot of it is not their problem, but mine and mine alone. I worked within the system and it is not fair that I should have to bear the burden for someone else's blatant deception. This is why, I contacted you, BBB regarding this issue with the hope that you can resolve this matter to everyone's satisfaction.Thanking you in advance.******************************
