      We are writing to file a complaint about our timeshare experience with Atlantic Palace. We feel pressured and misled by their sales tactics and now find ourselves stuck in a situation we can no longer ********* 2021, we were convinced to sign up for a timeshare after being pressured to make a decision on the spot. At the time, we werent familiar with how timeshares worked and didnt even know what questions to ask. They never explained the rescission period, so we didnt realize we had a small window to cancel.The sales team told us that Atlantic Palace was in its prime and that it would be easy to trade. They also made it sound like wed receive rewards, discounts, and gift certificates if we signed the contract. Unfortunately, none of these promises came true. To make things worse, we didnt receive a full copy of the agreementonly the mortgage documentsso we didnt fully understand what we were committing ******, as retirees living on Social Security with significant health issues (including kidney cancer and a cardiac triple bypass), the annual fees have become too much for us to afford. We are unable to travel and see no benefit in holding on to this timeshare.Our only wish is to be released from this financial burden. We kindly ask for your assistance in addressing this matter and helping us resolve it.

      I have read the consumers complaint. We value the consumer as long time owners with us since 2001. During the time they have owned with us, they have made the decision to upgrade their ownership. Following their decision to purchase, they met with the verification office to read and sign their contract.  This includes the Purchase and Sale Agreement which details the right of rescission. Owners are provided complete copies of all contract documents. Additionally, our team can provide additional copies at the owners request. Upon reviewing their account, I do not see any complaints following their purchase. We have an excellent customer service team available to assist guests and owners with any questions or needs they may have had. Although we value them as owners, we cannot cancel their contract as requested. We do sympathize with the consumers current health issues and financial constraints, and we may be able to assist them with payment arrangements to better suit their financial needs.  Please advise the consumer to contact ******** ****************** at ************ for further assistance.

      Im writing to you because I have been reaching out to the Boardwalk resort, but have yet to receive any reply or assistance. My intention is to be completely released from my contract in the most feasible way and I want to know what options I have to cancel my membership. This has become a financial burden on our family as were now in over $8K of debt because of it and I need to get my family back on its feet. I look forward to any help you can provide.       I have read the consumers complaint. We do value the consumer as an owner,however; we are not able to rescind their contact. At the time of their purchase, the consumer signed a contract, including the Purchase and Sale Agreement, which states the right of rescission. As their purchase was in 2002,that rescission period has expired. The consumer does have the right to sell their timeshare, but please note that we are not permitted to engage in the direct resale. Please reach out to us when you have arranged for your buyer for the paperwork necessary to complete the transfer.  We would like to see the consumer enjoy their vacations and ownership with us.       I have a time share with Boardwalk resorts formerly Atlantic palace, I fell behind on my payments due to issues with covid and loss of income. I called the loss mitigation department and spoke with ***** who was very rude and unhelpful and unwilling to assist me with trying to get my issues resolved. He told me not to talk over him and then started screaming about I not going to help you secure the loan he is very very very unprofessional. I need some assistance trying to resolve this debt to utilize my time share

      I have read the consumers complaint. While it is true the consumer spoke to our team regarding her outstanding balance of $1,421.79, our records indicate she refused our help on more than one occasion.  Our team does a great job and has years of experience helping consumers, and are not rude, but direct in their approach.       I have read the consumers rebuttal. Our records indicate that the consumer spoke to our representatives and refused our help to secure an arrangement. We ask the consumer be advised to please contact the mortgage department at **************, Monday - Friday, and one of the representatives will be able to assist her.
