On March *****, 2022, Set-N-Stone of Augusta, ** installed a new vinyl plank floor at my house in *********, **. As soon as the installers left, I noticed that they missed a couple of pieces of molding in the kitchen, so I immediately called *** at the Set-N-Stone office. I told her about this and then I also asked her why there was no extra flooring. I told her that I wanted extra pieces if something happens to a plank and I need to replace it or my flooring is no longer available. She told me that they do not measure for extra flooring, but she would order me a complimentary box. I called *** multiple times from March 22nd until July asking when the installers were going to return to finish the molding. Her answers always were, theyre busy and Ill call you. She never called me back. When I did talk to her (because I kept calling her as well as stopping at the office), she told me the floor was on backorder. After more phone calls and visits to their office, on July 17th, the installer finally showed up and finished the molding. *** had told me that when the installer came on July 17th, he would bring the extra box of flooring. Not only did he not bring the extra box of flooring, he knew nothing about it. I continued to call *** for weeks about the floors, It was on this date she told me that the box of flooring was in her bosss truck, but was damaged. I never heard from her again, and I got tired of all her lies.On September 25th, I did some research and found a flooring company in Florida, ** that had my floors. If Set-N-Stone had ordered the extra complimentary box of flooring *** had promised me, I would not have had to pay another company $350.00. After six months of fighting with Set-N-Stone, the situation was not resolved, forcing me to resolve it myself by going elsewhere and spending more money. I would like to see Set-N-Stone refund me the $350 that I spent on the extra box that they should have given me in the first place.
