    I had Lasik surgery at Dello Russo on May 10, 2024, and I am deeply frustrated by the lack of care and follow-up I have received post-surgery. Since the procedure, my experience has been nothing short of miserable. I initially believed I was in good hands, but my expectations were completely unmet. I reached out twice via letter and sent several emails requesting a one-on-one meeting to explain what truly transpired, but received no genuine response or acknowledgment. It seems as though they have no real interest in addressing or alleviating the issues I am facing. After a recent visit to another optometrist, I learned that the surgery resulted in mono-vision, which was never explained to me beforehand. This outcome was not only unexpected but was never communicated as a potential result of the procedure. I am extremely disappointed that this crucial detail was not fully disclosed to me, and I feel misled about what was supposed to be a life-changing procedure. The lack of transparency, poor follow-up, and complete disregard for my ongoing issues post-surgery have made this experience incredibly frustrating. I trusted Dello Russo to provide me with quality care, but instead, I feel ignored and misinformed. It's disheartening that after voicing my concerns, no effort has been made to make things right or even offer a genuine apology. I would caution anyone considering their services to think twice. Its been a painful and disappointing journey, and I strongly advise seeking a second opinion before proceeding with them.

    My visit to DR ********************** Russo on June 20, 2024, was an eye-opening experience, albeit not in the way I expected. I arrived promptly at 4:30 PM for a scheduled free consultation, which began after a 30-minute wait. Initially, everything proceeded smoothly during the consultation, confirming my suitability for the procedure.The secretary, then went ahead and charged my card for $3500 for the procedure, I was speaking to the gentleman next to me about the rate that he was paying which was substantially much more than my rate for the same procedure, which was also a little odd givin the fact that the secretary yelled at us to not discuss the rates that we paid to other individuals However, things took a turn when I began filling out paperwork, extending my wait by another 45 minutes before finally meeting with the doctor. As he began explaining the details of the procedure and assessing my eyesight, I raised a question regarding a concerning discovery from my pre-visit research.I had stumbled upon information indicating the doctor had been involved in a significant lawsuit involving 16 individuals and $16 million. When I asked him about it, he abruptly stated it was his father's issue, then abruptly left the room, leaving me bewildered. Ten minutes later, a secretary returned, accusing me of insulting the doctor and labeling my question as highly inappropriate.Despite attempting to explain the seriousness of my concernespecially considering the procedure's impact on my vision at just 27 years oldI was escorted out, being branded as cocky and naive. This treatment left me deeply unsettled and reinforced my decision to delve deeper into the doctor's ********** post-visit.In conclusion, while DR ********************** Russo may offer technical expertise, the manner in which patient concerns are addressed and the transparency regarding past legal issues leave much to be desired.
