    Contractor was paid 15,000 usd to perform a French drain around the house and replace partial pipe of drainage that communicates with city main pipe, make parking lot bigger, and rent excavator to perform this job. However, the contractor did not fully finish French drain, finish addition to parking lot, nor did he do any work on house main drain pipe. He tried excavating but did not know how to use machinery and returned it on same day. Contractor was also paid in full (15,000 usd) and final receipt was not given (5000 usd) as he knew he would no longer return or finish the work. Instead he built a mini deck as a means of remediation using the cheapest materials possible (<400 dollar cost) during the last day before leaving to new Jersey and never returning nor answering any calls. Contractor also worked on some remodeling work inside the house where all the floors >1500 square feet (>10,000 usd cost) was fully damaged after 5 months of installation and rain water entered the house and caused damage to interior. He was also paid to level the floor >20,000 usd but leveled it with cardboard instead all throughout. I had to hire separate company to repair floors and flooding which costed me over 30,000 usd.
