    I was contacted by ***************** at American Country Moving 5/9 for a move out of state. While speaking to ***, I was assured multiple times that the initial deposit of $1875 was fully refundable up until the day before our scheduled move. My mistake was taking his word & not looking into this company first. Two days after I paid my deposit, circumstances changed & I was no longer moving. I immediately contacted the company, explained my situation, & was told they would refund my deposit within 3 business days. A week later I still hadn't been refunded. I reached out to the company & spoke to ***. I was told that I would be refunded but to send in a formal email requesting reimbursement. A week after sending that email, I still did not receive a refund. I was then told per article 5 of the contract, the deposit was not refundable but to continue sending email requests for a reimbursement. I have been told by ***************** ********** ********************* this would be refunded.To this day 5/29. I have not received my reimbursement or any other communication from this company. I'm extremely disappointed in this company & suggest all who come in contact with them to beware.

    We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the us as a company.  The contract signed stated our refund policy but we are happy to look into other options as well.  Once booked, even if the timeline changes, we are happy to move the date of pick up to match, if you still plan to make your move within the next 12 months. Give us a call and we will look into the best course of action moving forward.

    I am rejecting this response because: I am no longer moving which means I do not and will not need a moving company. I was told by multiple employees that my money was refundable which is why I paid the deposit. I was told I would get my deposit back. I will not need moving services in the next 12 months. I am incredibly unhappy with this company and how Ive been lied to and taken advantage of.

    The signed quote states our refund policy multiple time. We are happy to explore other options to find a route that works for everyone.
