Mike Brodtman one man repair shop.Relies heavily on obd2scanner code system. If there is no code or no check engine light, then there is no problem.Mike had my 1999 F250 for 2 days to troubleshoot suspected transmission problem. On day3 I stopped by his shop for an update. He gave me my keys and stated there wasn't anything else he could do.He charged me$100 to tell me that.Did not give me a receipt, and would only accept cash.He would not accept my credit card either. He said his machine was down.Mike did not want to persue any other options.Bottom line.If your vehicle vehicle has an issue that may require extensive troubleshooting, don't take to Brodtman Transmissions.I stopped by his shop a week later to pick up information on the truck I had given him.It was 11am.He was eating lunch and told me to come back in an hour, and he wanted to enjoy his lunch. He was rude and showed me no courtesy at all.I have done business with him over the last 3years,and he never treated me like this.Total lack of courtesy, and unprofessional.By the way Mike, when you are at lunch, close your shop, put up an out to lunch sign, and then people won't walk in and disturb you. From what I see here. You only want to do quick, clear cut repair jobs.
