Hi , I was a student at Smith Solomon commercial driver training beginning in November 2020 in Bordentown NJ. I was abused and yelled and treated horribly by my trainer who seemed to be on drugs. His name is *****. I paid my loan of $3250 to **************. ***** continuously abused me every day and i wanted to call a police many times. I still cry every night and my mental state has declined because of him. I graduated from fifth attempt in March of 2021. When i was hired as a driver 18 months later, i was fired next day from three companies due to horrible training and abuse from *****. I called Smith Solomon and told them about situation and they knew about ***** but refused to give me a refund. Saying they are not responsible for his behavior or the way he was teaching. I surrendered my *** since of no use to it. I asked them for a refund since I m so abused and fired from everywhere because i dont have any skills the employer looks for. They refused. They knew i can take steps with BBB to help me with refund. And my attorney advised me to do this. Or to take it to small claims court. Please ask the company to refund me the money for such poor training and sexual and mental abuse from *****. I wanted to call 911 many times on him so they take him away.

      To Whom It May Concern,
It has been brought to our attention that you are seeking a refund for the lack of training and lack of ability to secure and maintain employment within the Commercial Driving Industry.  According to our records, you never brought any concern to us while you were attending the school.  You completed the training, and you were awarded a *** Class A license by the State of NJ.  We did not charge you anything additional for the extra training nor for the additional attempts to pass the *** Exam administered by the State of NJ.  When you passed your test, the State of NJ deemed you proficient in the skills of driving a Commercial Vehicle.  The 18 month span of time between obtaining your *** License and accepting  employment could explain your loss of skill because you were not applying what you had learned while attending our School.  We do not feel that you are entitled to a refund because we fulfilled our obligation.
      Sincerely
      *** *******

I am rejecting this response because of couple of reasons. Because of abusive and poor treatment by *****. His irratic and disgusting behavior that broke my mentality and I cried so many nights cause I have disability. Things that were taught in school are not accepted in real employment truck companies. Truck companies were not cooperating with me and not willing to help or teach me. Just getting CDL doesn't mean I operate vehicle safety or have enough training. Even if I would be hired and drive well , ***** behavior is still a reason for refund. Screaming, threats , abuse , violence. I have disability and unable to drive anyway. My expectations to school are completely unmet. Especially with instructors behavior. And the way material was taught. I m a costumer who paid for service that I m absolutely not satisfied. Poor training , horrible treatment, lack of material, constant screaming and abuse. Truck companies proved ***** wrong each time I talk about him. In new response I ll explain more details of what was given to me for my money. I just need my money back. So I don't need to go to court.

      Regards,
