  Movers201 provided an excellent move for me - their free estimate was in line with the final price. The team showed up promptly, packed my large furniture safely and quickly, and handled my boxes with care. At the final destination, they were very easy to work with, arranging my furniture as I requested, and also dropped off my items safely. Couldn't ask for a better experience and team.

  I worked with Movers 201 and they were fantastic. They were Professional, timely, knowledgeable, quick and very focused. From the minute they showed up until the the job was completed, I had only a good experience.. Additionally, ******** who manages and schedule and estimated my move was spot on.. ******** was on point, smart and a pleasure to work with. She treated me like I was her only client.   Do not use 201 Movers for long distance moves. I have moved twice previously from coat to coast, with relatively little damage to my belongings. This move was only from ** to *******, but several pieces of my furniture were damaged beyond repair and the many of the rest scratched. I packed the boxes myself, they arrived in good condition. Unfortunately, I trusted 201 Movers to wrap and disassemble/assemble the furniture, which turned out to be a task complete beyond their abilities. Three examples: Dining Room Table - legs taken off very roughly, stripping the wood in several places (not really designed for this, legs were not removed on previous moves and the table suffered no damage). The crew doing the delivery (subcontractors) were unable to properly assemble table, the legs were so wobble that it no longer supported any weight.Sofa: again, legs removed although they weren't designed to be (and were not removed on previous moves), pieces of legs missing, the delivery crew was unable to attached them properly, very wobbly as a result.Two identical dressers: one wrapped properly, arrived in OK shape. One left totally unwrapped at the bottom, arrived - surprise surprise - with pieces chipped of at the bottom. No longer stands up properly. After paying approx. $8500 for moving the contents of a 1 Br apartment from ** to *******, I was really expecting something better. A lot better. I did not buy extra insurance, so the compensation for all of the above (plus other damage) came to $399, less than I paid them to transport/destroy these pieces of furniture. Do yourself a favor and select some other company. It is possible that I got very unlucky with the crew, it is conceivable that they can manage short distance moves OK, but I would avoid the whole company, there are plenty of alternatives. Cheaper ones also, when you factor in all the charges. Or purchase full insurance and factor the cost into their bid.
