      Our mother died on March 8, 2020. In the last several months we received a bill for $490.00 for her medical care on 03/01/ 2022. She had died two plus years previous to this date. She lived at **************** prior to her death and was on *************** support. She was out of money, so ******** took her social security check and the fund paid for remaining care. When I called to resolve this, I was told the voicemail box was full. When I called back and left a detailed message, I did not receive a call back. Today I received a letter threatening collections. I called, waited 30 minutes to speak to someone and was told no one was available to take my call. I left another detailed message.I would like someone to eliminate this bill. They can call ******** to verify that mother was on the *************** and that she was destitute.

      I spoke with ************ regarding the statement she received for her deceased mother owing $490.00. ************ was upset that she never received a call back regarding the statement. I received an email regarding this situation. I reached out to ************. Apologized for the inconvenience. Her mother should have not received any statement and the balance should have been adjusted due to her mother not have any funds in her estate to pay the bill. Again, I apologized. Noted the account of when her mother passed and adjusted the balance. I did mail ************ proof that the account has a zero balance. ************ seem satisfied with my help. To my understanding she had no issue with the provider or the care her mother received.
