I purchased in late September 2020, a Oticon hearing aid for my left ear to help me hear conversations. This doctor recommended the Oticon as being the best hearing aid.He did my hearing test so that they could properly fit the aid to my hearing capabilities of my left ear. With 6 months it wasn't working properly and he returned it to Oticon for repair. They fixed it and I picked it up and it was working again. Since then every two to three months, I would have to go back and to have it repaired because it was not working properly. As time went on and I kept coming back to get it to work properly, he was getting irritated with me like I was bothering him.Now comes to the last instance, every week and a half, I change the plug as instructed but this time it would not go in because it looks like it is split where it fits in. For the last two weeks, I have called to make an appointment two to three times a day and actually stop by every day at his office. No one was there with a note on the door with a number to call for an emergency, it was his personal cell number. The sign on the door did not say he was on vacation. He did not call me back until two weeks later. I was on the phone when he called me back so he left me a message that i would have to go to another service provider because it was out of warranty and Oticon would not cover the repair or replacement. After a week of no return calls, I kept on leaving messages for him but took matters into my own hands and called ****** directly.I explained the whole situation and they said they would repair or replace it for me but they don't except returns directly from the customer only the service provider that purchased the hearing from them. No other service provider in my area would return it to Oticon because I did not purchase it from them. ****** said they would try to contact the doctor for me. Not sure if that is why he finally called me back after two weeks,$1,800 is not chump change to last less than 3 years and have that many issues, I repeatly told him during this whole period that this aid was a lemon but he just ignored me.
