    The Icemaker went out on our Samsung Fridge. We saw on **** and Edgewater Parts had a photo of our original icemaker and listed the maker as Samsung, so we purchased it from them on Nov. 19, 2024. Order total: US $126.89, Order Number: **-*****-*****. We received it on Nov 21, 2024. This was intended for a Christmas present. Once we opened the package we were shocked to find that Edgewater Parts had not sent us the Samsung ice maker, but a completely different ice maker part. A Knock off that they were trying to sell as if it was the manufacturer piece. (You will notice they list the Samsung manufacturer ice maker photo and what they sent is completely different.) My husband looked up reviews on Edgewater Parts and many complaints were on their profile stating the same thing that happened to us. They received a knock-off part but installed it and it seemed to work. We tried installing it 3 separate times but each time our freezer would not recognize the icemaker and would not allow us to reset the ice button. I requested on Jan 2nd to return the item, but Edgewater Parts would not respond to my request and so on Feb 8th my window for returning the item closed without Edgewater Parts ever contacting me. I reached out to **** and they said to try and connect with Edgewater Parts. I have tried multiple times to get them to respond to me and take ownership for selling knock-off parts and placing stock photos thinking you are getting the manufacturer piece. When I accused them of falsely listing their knockoff icemaker, they acted as if they were going to help me, but then nothing! Despite multiple requests to refund me for this purchase they have given me the run around and still have not credited back my card for the transaction. I would gladly return their knockoff icemaker part. I attached a pic of our icemaker original part that stopped working - notice on the receipt it shows that as the part I should have received but see the photos for what they actually sent.
