    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Northstone Construction LLC and ****** LLC, owned by Tejas P. regarding a severely delayed and mismanaged construction project at *** ********** Rd, 6th floor, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660.

    On September 6, 2023, my business, *** ****** ***** ******* *** ****, contracted Tejas P.  to complete construction within an 80-*** period. Despite initial assurances and a signed agreement, the project remains incomplete as of January 20, 2025, far exceeding the agreed-upon timeline.

    Mr. P. and his companies have failed to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and deliver on contractual obligations. These failures have caused total financial losses exceeding $6 million, including costs related to rent, lost billing opportunities, storage, transportation, and overstaffing due to the project delay.

    Specifically, the delay has resulted in substantial additional staffing costs, including administrative support, social work assistants, activity staff, consultants, drivers, and kitchen workers. These expenses have placed a significant financial burden on our operations and have severely impacted our ability to transition to the *** facility as planned.

    Despite numerous attempts to address these issues directly with Mr. P. meaningful progress has not been made. His inability to complete the project as agreed upon has caused irreparable harm to my business, severely affecting operations and client services.

    I respectfully request that the BBB review this matter and take appropriate action to address the unprofessional conduct of Northstone Construction LLC and ****** LLC. Additionally, I seek guidance on next steps to ensure accountability and prevent similar experiences for others.
