      I had moving services through this company, and would not recommend it to my worst enemy! It has been more than 30 days, and we have NOT received our belongings. We have called and called, but, to no avail. We are considering legal action at this point. To anyone who plans a long distance move, do not use Cross Country Long Distance Movers!

In addition to that, all consumers receive informative documentation prior to their service date, advising them that in the unlikely event a consumer may realize that some of their goods are damaged or missing, or if they feel that they have been over-charged or charged for services that they didnt receive prior, during, or after services were completed, they are provided with the opportunity to have their issues and concerns formally addressed, investigated, and resolved in accordance with their coverage and contractual liabilities.To better understand and validate all the consumer claims/complaints we respectfully request that the consumer submit copies of the contracts they have received from the company, they allegedly have had transactions with to determine and validate the company they are attempting to file their complaint against. This will confirm the interaction between both parties and ensure a fair investigation for both the customer as well as the company.We respectfully request that the consumer provide the following supportive Documents (FRONT AND BACK):?Bill of Lading (contract)?Order for Service ?Household Goods Descriptive Inventory (both pickup and final delivery copies)?Proof of any financial transaction made with the Service Provider (receipt, bank statement, etc.)We urge the customer to submit additional information as soon as possible so that we may address their issues.       ************ is fraudulent, dishonest, has terrible communication, and should not be a company. First off, we agreed to have our goods picked up between 6/22-6/23. We did not hear from them until 5:45pm on 6/23 stating they would not get to our house until 11pm since they were 5 hours away in a different state. The driver also told us his crew would not be in the best shape since they just worked all day. He stated they would be at our house at 6am on 6/24. They did not show up until 8:10am on 6/24 and we had to close on our house at 11:30am on this day. This cost us much stress and money as we had to pay temporary occupancy fees. I used a broker to hire this company. I paid for a full truck (***** cu ft) through the broker. Upon arrival, the driver stated that his truck held ***** cu ft and did not measure it for me. Upon measuring the truck at drop off myself and after calling the company that made the truck using the serial number, the truck only held ***** cu ft. They charged us $3.30 per cu ft for an extra 723 cu ft. This is FRAUD and every time I spoke with the company they insisted it is ***** cu ft. ************ should not be in business, should lose their license, and there needs to be a class action lawsuit so this doesn't happen to anyone else and others who have been scammed should get refunded!

From the beggining of this move we let the customer know any overages because they were under the impression that any truck that is 26 ft takes up to **** cubes. We have special equipted trucks with an extension over head space and are 28 ft. We gave money off as well because we wanted our customer to see that we are willing to work with them. We do truly apologize for getting to the pick up late we trying to get to everyone as fast as we can to get the job done. We will defitnetly take into account that work time frames need to get better and our communication. This complaint was resolved with the customer.

      I literally contacted the company that made your truck using the serial number on the side of the truck. They gave me the EXACT cubic footage of the truck which matched what I manually took using a tape measurer. After stating this to your workers, they took "measurements" which exceeded the state maximum for width and even they came 200 cu. ft below what you charged me for. You took $500 off the total. It should have been $2100 based on the $3.30/cu ft. you charged. You are fraudulent and deserve to be ***d. If I lived in ********** I would *** your company, but I don't and would have to get an attorney who is licensed in the state. Quit lying to your customers. Provide the blue prints of your truck to prove.
