Reading Glass Books snookered me out of $7697 for various undelivered "fabulous" PR opportunities. I paid $1849 for what was dubbed "prominent slot in The New ********** Special Sunday Article paper magazine" - which turned out to be a 1 1/4 x 3/4 inch picture of my book cover without even the isbn on a page with 49 other book covers. What a rip off. Then there was $3999 for 4 tradeshows - but I have no proof or feedback that the books were in ANY trade show. . . .Now I paid $1849 for a book review and I've been sent a blind contract in a docusign with no feedback as to the terms of the contract. BEWARE, Authors, of the predators at Reading Glass Books!!!!!

Firstly, we would like to acknowledge that the reviewer accurately described the services she purchased from us. However, we would like to provide additional context to clarify the misunderstandings.Regarding the New ********** feature, we were transparent about what the ad would entail. Before issuing the ad, we always send a draft to our clients, showing exactly how their book will be featured. The ad in question included a 1 1/4 x 3/4 inch picture of the book cover among other book covers, as was communicated and approved in the draft provided.Concerning the $3999 Literary Book Fairs package, this included participation in four prominent book fairs: the London Book Fair, LA Times Festival of Books, the **************************** Book Fair, and The Word On The Street Toronto Canada's Largest Literary Festival. The reviewer's book was indeed displayed and featured at the London Book Fair from March *****, 2024. A fulfillment report documenting this was sent to her via email on March 22, 2024. If needed, we are more than willing to resend this report for her records.Subsequently, the reviewer requested her branding consultant to alter her services, choosing not to proceed with the remaining book fairs. Instead, she opted for the Books of the Month Show with ***************************, along with two ************** Releases.Lastly, regarding the book review service she purchased, the contract provided was transparent about the service details and its terms. We strive to ensure that all agreements are clear and fully understood by our clients before proceeding. We regret any frustration or confusion the reviewer may have experienced and are committed to addressing her concerns. We are more than happy to provide any additional documentation or support she may need.
