If you use Sodastream's cylinder exchange program, you pay a high premium for the service and convenience. The least they could do is play fair and charge you only what they say they will. However, at least three times I had Sodastream charge me the "unreturned cylinder fee" for returned cylinders that tracking confirmed delivered over a month prior to the return cutoff date. In the first example, the previous return had 8 out of 4 cylinders returned against it, leaving the more recent one at 0/4. That is a systems failure that should have raised an error for the agent processing it before being allowed. The other two simply failed to be confirmed before the date. They or their system imitated the charge, but in both of these examples the returns did eventually post as received in my account. But did they automatically rescind those charges? They did not; they happily kept my money until I reached out each time. That means either their returns acceptance process is so inept and incompetent that they can't confirm a receipt in up to five weeks of time to do so (Dec 30 to Jan 25 and April 21 to May 24) AND they do not check the received date from the tracking which they have record of to at least automatically acknowledge their mistake and correct for their customers. Or it means they are willingly leaving some returns to receive after the fact in order to try to slip erroneous charges by people. I would not suggest malice so readily if it had not happened to me three separate times many months apart with nothing in the way of explanation or apology from the support team at Sodastream. I tend to be highly attentive to my finances so I worry for anyone less vigilant using this service. The fee is over $15 per cylinder and returning 4 at a time means I would be out over $180 had I not noticed Sodastream's errors. If you have used this service, I highly recommend you check your debit/credit card statements for extra charges and get receipts when you ship your returns.

When placing an online order, a Flavor Sachet was automatically added to the shopping cart. The item can NOT be removed from the cart, and I'm forced to receive it with my order. There is no way to contact **************** anywhere on their website to request that this item is not shipped (or to communicate any other concerns, for that matter). While the item is offered for free, it's not optional to receive it, and customers are forced to accept it as part of their order.

When you buy machines from their website, they have a secret clause in their service agreement that states you will be charged $15 per canister if you dont send them back within 60 days. I bought the canisters, I dont understand why they should charge me for keeping them until Im ready to send them back. Sorry I dont drink 4 bottles of soda a day in order to send them back within 60 days. (126 bottles per canister according to them)

Terrible customer service from day one on their subscription service. 1. I signed up for the subscription service and inquired if they wanted me to send back tanks I had been getting from Target. After several emails the person concluded they did not understand the question. So I did not return them. 2. I had not heard from them or received my second order so to send back my first tanks. No emails, or correspondence. I went on to check my account. You cannot see all your account details from the mobile site and their contact us page is inaccessible. I checked via my desk top and found that my card wasn't processed as it was a month away from expiring so they wouldn't process an order. 3. I received my second order on 4/25 and prepared the empty tanks to send back. They went in the mail on 5/18. I then received an email that I was charged $45 for 3 missing/not returned tanks. At the time of sign up it is explained that there is a $15 fee for not returning tanks within 60 days from your next order. It was under 30 days 4. I contacted customer service and they were rude, condescending and could not give facts on the account. They repeated that it had been 60 days FROM the first order so I was charged. I said I hadn't even received my second order to send them back in the box with the label. They explained that I should have just sent them back anyway. So I cancelled the account. I don't think they have any intention of refunding me anything that they should or care about me as a customer.

I bought extra CO2 cylinders for my sodastream. For each bottle you pay a deposit of something like $***** dollars with the remaining ***** dollars charged for the exchange. I was extremely disappointed to find out that if you return the C02 cylinder SodaStream will only refund $1 out of the total $***** dollar deposit that they collect. This seems like it should be illegal to collect a deposit that is not fully refundable.

I bought a Sodastream Terra with 2 cannisters at Target 6 months ago. It was my understanding I could exchange the cannisters for about $16 when empty. In January I contacted Sodastream re cannister exchange since Target didn't have any. I had previously sent them an email and told them I was soon to need to exchange.Whenever I call Target they don't have any blue or pink ones. They sell the new ones for $30. In the store. When I complained to Target, I was told they don't have any for exchange, yet they sell the new ones. I paid approximately $130. For my Sodastream Terra. I absolutely love it, but Sodastream/Target aren't fulfilling their obligation to its customers. When I contact either one I get this "sorry for the inconvenience " but no attempt to rectify the problem. There has to be a way we can Co2 cannisters. Also they won't ship to ******. Could you please help me with this? I notice I am not the only one with this problem.****** ***************
