      I had Bath Fitters **me on Thursday June 4, 2025 and June 5, 2025 to put in a walk in shower, this was for my sister who is disable and can't step into a tub. The work was done and the plumber told me not to use the shower unto Saturday June 7, 2025. When my sister was having her shower the it started to flood, the the water not going down the drain. I call ***** anyone ** who is the Sales **nsuitant, and he said a plumber will **me on Monday June 9, 2025. I told him that it will be now be 6 days without a shower. On Monday the plumber called to say they would be here between 3 and 5 PM. I told him that I was leaving to go to ****** on Tuesday and my disable sister would be home with a fried and I wanting to have a plumber to **me earlier just in case there are any other problem that can,t be fixed until the next day, but I would not be there. And it is now 6 days with out a shower he said no. Want can I do.

      Thank you for the opportunity to provide information for our customer ***** ******.  I am happy to share that the problem she experienced has been resolved.  Our team sent a technician to her home and cleared an obstruction of approximately 8 from her waste pipe.  This was not a Bath Fitter issue but we were very happy that we could assist her. Initially our attempts to snake were unsuccessful, however we were able to plunge after the snaking and that fixed her problem.

      While enter tub grabbed on to bar attached to glass door handle came off in my hand and the door shattered covering me with thousands of glass particles and causing me.a trip to the ** This is the 2nd installation of the product First was defective and this one obviously also I was injured due to poorly designed product .

      This project was installed 12/18/2007,16 years ago.   The glass shower doors we install offer a 5 year warranty against defects and installation workmanship.  The client clearly states that they are unsing the door handle as a grab bar to get in and out of the tub, which the door was not designed to do.  The handle on the glass door is designed to open and close the door, not support the weight of someone entering.  For that purpose a safety grab bar ****** be installed that is secured to the wall with appropriate anchors to support someone's weight.  The glass panel for any glass shower door should NEVER be used for this purpose, and it's no surprise that the glass shattered as this is not being used properly.  Also of note I've not received any calls from this individual regarding this issue, and if I did I would have explained the above captioned an offered to replace the door at a discounted price.   This is clearly misuse of an item that was not designed for the purpose of supporting the weigjt of a person.
